Clean Bandit got its start in 2008 when the future band members met while studying at the University of Cambridge. Their unique blend of classical music and dance beats quickly aroused the curiosity of listeners and the industry, and when Clean Bandit released "A+E" it broached the UK Singles Chart. When they released New Eyes in 2014, "Rather Be" featuring Jess Glynne crowned the UK Singles Chart. The song snagged them a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording, and the band subsequently re-recorded it with a full 30-piece orchestra. The popularity of their crossover sound continued to spread, and they were invited to perform at Coachella in 2015. They've continued their playful combination of classical music and dance rhythms by recording "Rockabye" with rapper Sean Paul and vocalist Anne-Marie, as well as "Symphony" with Zara Larsson.
