Aziz got his start by performing stand-up in New York City while at NYU. He wrote his first piece of work, Human Giant, in 2007 for MTV. This piece of work got Ansari’s name on the board as he then featured in movies like Funny People, I Love You, Man, and 30 Minutes or Less. Arguably Ansari’s most popular role was as the lovable Tom Haverford in NBC’s Parks and Recreation series. Ansari also created his own Netflix series, Master of None, for which he won multiple awards including two Emmy’s and a Golden Globe. Not only is Ansari a master of the screen, he can write too!
