The Hotel was close to a myriad of excellent shopping malls and also conveniently located to easy highway access..I had ... family in Los Gatos and drove there in a matter of minutes. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. I will go back next time I visit.

This hotel is just okay. The advertisement online is somewhat misleading. The rooms are no where near as nice as they look ... online. This hotel shopuld have an average rate of 50.00per night and no more then that. The overall service provided by the hotel staff was really good and the fact that they have a full cooked breakfast and dinner was a plus. More hotels should have the breakfast and dinner plan like this one.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are a good size. But this time we were put in a room at the very end of ... hall and had to pass the hotel laundry. Room smelled funny the whole time and it was on the corner next to the road so it was very noisey all night and day. Breakfast and dinner is ok nothing to rave about.

great hotel - close to the airport and santana row. the rooms are a little outdated, but it had great amentities (large ... vanity, bathroom w/ large tub, etc). in general, it was very clean and very spacious - i also really enjoyed the free dinner (soup, enchiladas, salad, etc) and free parking and free breakfast. everything was very comfortable and had the feel of a old, luxury hotel. in sum, i dont think you can get a better deal in the san jose area!

I was traveling for business, this hotel was fine for my purposes. It was pretty clean and quiet inside but nothing fancy. ... If you just need a place to sleep this is a good choice. If you are looking for a place to relax by the pool and hang out at during the day, I would look for something else. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Convenient location to mall and downtown area. Would like to see some updates the hotel is pretty dated. however the price ... is good and having breakfast and dinner available is a plus although it's not restaurant quality it works. it's also good having a fridge in your room for personal needs.

Valley Park Hotel was very welcoming by the front desk. The room was freshly painted so they quickly got us to another room ... with a very helpful attitude. The housecleaning staff in the hallway were very polite with Hello or Good Afternoon. The room had a minor hint of being dated . Nice flat screen TV. A little caulking problem around the tub. Harsh lighting at the vanity, no other lighting nearby. Light switches outside the bathroom. Great breakfast! Real omelets. Overall a very nice stay.

The Valley Park Hotel in San Jose was worth the stay. The room was spacious and quiet. The walls and doors are thick enough ... so a guest doesn't hear conversations in the next room or hallway. I find this a huge advantage in a hotel stay. All the rooms come with a kitchenette, including micro and frig--another advantage. What's also impressive is that the hotel serves full dinners and breakfasts in the San Carlos dining room every day of the week. A drawback for some people might be that there is no swimming pool, fitness center or virtually anything else extra offered along those lines. But the hotel is still business friendly and has a great location in the Silicon Valley. I would recommend this hotel to other people.

The Valley Park Hotel is an exceptional value for any budget. First, the rate was very competitive. But when you add the ... value in both time and expense of the following features, it was extraordinary. A freshly prepared meal for both breakfast and dinner were included in the price and were as good if not better than any local diner. Wireless internet access in the room was included. It was about a 20 minute bus ride to the Convention Center or other downtown locations. The Jacuzzi bathtub was welcoming at the end of a long day, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was top notch. I forgot a razor and the hotel delivered one to my room at no change; they held my luggage at the desk while I completed my last days? business; and everyone from the desk, diner and room service were polite and efficient. The neighborhood had very limited appeal and there were no activities in the hotel, but as a business traveler, I found it?s services and professionalism quite welcoming and would recommend it to other business travelers.
