Good Value

It was exactly what we were looking for on our budget: close to town, reasonably priced, good continental breakfast, ... friendly staff, and good service. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were attractive and clean. Cute porch for sitting out front. Plenty of shopping and conveniences in the area. We would stay there again.
Traveler type: Family
Only fifteen minutes to downtown Savannah. We would strongly recommend that those who wish to visit the historic areas and/or dine in the tourist restaurants, should do their research, plan to leave early, as parking is an issue in downtown Savannah, especially during holidays. We spent 45-minutes one evening looking for parking. The car lots fill up quickly. Wear good walking shoes.

My motel needs are few. Friendly staff, clean room and facilities, and a comfy bed. My needs were well satisfied. Just a ... short drive to the historic area and Riverwalk. The motel is near several restaurants, shopping, and Hunter Air Force base. The complementary breakfast was OK, not great; but hey it was free. Overall, no complaints. Will definitely stay here again.

Think about a different motel
Allison Aug 23, 2009
Our room was not clean, water stains on curtains. We did not stay in the room much because there is so much to do. Location ... was good. Some staff super friendly, others not so friendly. We had an issue with ants in our room and my legs got eat up, they were in our bed. Managers excuse was that orkin did not take care of our room and they ALL must have headed to our room. She resolved the problem by stripping the bed and to have orkin come back when we were gone. I would have liked something for getting ant bits all over. Extremely noisy by airport. If you don't stay in the room, this is the place to stay, cheap and location is good. Breakfast also good. However, there are SO many motels in this area, this motel really needs to step it up. Christmas decorations still in lobby.

We loved this hotel!!! It was a very convenient Savannah location to all of the things we wanted to do. Tybee Island, ... historic district, etc, all within an easy drive. The staff was amazing. They were all very friendly and helpful. We can't rate the pool and the spa, because we did not have ... time to go. We did see it though and it was very clean and had really long hours of operation. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the Savannah area!

The good, the bad, and the ugly!
Robert L. O'Neil May 22, 2009
We arrived, Checked in, and was assigned a room, (Nr. 101). My wife got sick on the trip to Savannah, but she wanted to ... continue on hoping she would begin to feel better when we got there. She continued to feel worse, and we decided the best would be to return home Justin Case (Humor) she would need to see a Doctor. The Room was not used. I am quite disillusioned with Orbitz. I am not going to use Orbitz again, nor will I recommend Orbitz favorably because of your policy regarding Refunding charges. I can see paying for the night the Motel lost, but not the whole stay.
