Twelve minute walk from strip
Budget traveler Nov 20, 2009
We took advantage of hotel's BOGO meal deal at Mexican restaurant. Good food, great price and quieter than strip. Never saw ... 202 bus when we walked to strip but often caught it back to hotel. (All day "Duece" strip bus tickets worked for other city buses too.) Our room was huge, normal motel chain type furniture... and super shower. Hotel is closer to center strip location (15 minutes to view Bellago fountains) than the Northern strip locations and couldn't beat price. They do charge for early checkin but we just changed shoes in lobby (could have changed clothes in rest room), left bags with valet and checked in later.

Good Stay
delhi Nov 19, 2009
Great location for a convenient stop for a restful nights sleep. However, It was quite so... I was given the choice of ... either king size bed or double queens. I specifically ask for the king and was given the double full size beds. Although too tired to complain and it was our anniversary we went to bed after a long day. Unfortunately, we awoke the next day with back pains. I guess we could have slept on separate beds. But i am annoy about the whole situation.

The monarails make you walk endlessly through the casinos to get to the trains. The time you save walking the strip is wasted walking through casinos that you don't want to gamble in. A car rental for 3 days was cheaper then the passes for two and the airport transfers. A car is good for getting to the downtown area efficiently or a side trip to Sam's Town or the Hoover Dam.

good hotel for the price
Vegas newcomer Nov 17, 2009
The hotel was quiet and comfortable for the price. [...] I liked having a fridge, but thought the stovetop was odd since ... there were no pans or utensils. A microwave would have been much better. The two major restaurants were very good and the coupons could be used at both for 1/2 price meals. Get the players card for some free stuff, but I didn't enjoy the casino that much. The waitresses were nice and for a $1.00 tip, they refreshed your beverages often, but I play blackjack, and found a few dealers rude and disinterested. With all the competion for gambling, this would make me not stay here again because I like to gamble at night in my own hotel. The walk to the Tuscany is too far to go up to the strip for late night gambling. Also, if you like to walk the strip, the extra 10 minute walk is an added burden.

Travelin on a dime! Nov 15, 2009
Even though this hotel was not directly on the strip it still was a great location (only about a 7-15 minute walk depending ... on pase or about a $5 cab ride). My boyfriend and I agreed that we preferred staying 2 blocks behind the center of the strip because it was relaxing to walk into the calm atmosphere after a chaotic day walking around Las Vegas. We loved the complementary coupons we received and took full advantage of them. The mexican cantina was so delicious and I highly recommend eating there for those looking to save a bit or just looking for some good eatin! We will definately be going back to the Tuscany Suites and Casino when we visit Las Vegas again!

Staff needs more training on how tobe cheerful and receptive to ALL customers, not be snobbish or put on airs...to treat all ... customers as equal...leave ALL prejudices at home..you're in the service industry for crying out loud!! that's why we're losing business in this valley!! other than that..the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped for the price.

Property landscaping was outstanding and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. I found the rooms and common areas to be ... clean and well maintained. The casino restrooms were superb and clean. The only thing I didnt like were the noisy upstairs neighbors but thats not the hotels fault that people dont know how to act.

The hotel is nice for the price. It's only a block from the strip and it does the job for Vegas. Most people don't spend ... time in their rooms. This is not to take anything away from the hotel. It has as nice a bathroom as the expensive hotels and they are roomier than the expensive hotels (I believe 600 sq ft). I highly recommend this place. Save your money on impressing your friends and enjoy more money on gambling and shows. I'm sure i will use them again.

Tuscany is a great value and close walk
designjb Nov 3, 2009
The Tuscany offers great value very near the Strip of Las Vegas. It's just a short walk to Bally's and then you are on the ... strip. But you can also gamble at the Tuscany or Ellis Island which are both close. The pool was nice. Only one hot tub was really hot at the time, but maybe that will be fixed. The fitness center had a lot of weight machines and a few cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical) to help you burn off those graveyard steak and eggs. Note there is a $10 (plus tax) resort fee per day.

Cabs are everywhere around and not too expensive. There's a bus stop near the hotel so it would probably be useful to have a look at the timetable of the bus. The most attractive hotels in las vegas (as there were for us treasure island, planet hollywood, mirage, bellagio etc.) are as well comfortably reachable per pedes.
