There was a complimentary room upgrade which was great. This room was a jr. suite with a King Bed , plenty of room. We ... took advantage of the amenities; Lunch at the pool side restuarant, lounged on the beach, worked out in the gym, pampered at the spa. It was great! Stayed only one night as it was a getaway for us.

The Trump International was nice but costly. We stayed here for 4 days. We had an Ocean View room. The first day we ... arrived the sliding door to the outdoor deck could not be opened. We were told it could have been painted shut and that we needed to have the maintenance person come up to our room to open it. My husband and I who were very tired from traveling, just wanted to stay in and order room service. Since we could not sit outside on the deck, we left the hotel and went to eat downtown. When we returned approx. 2 hours later - it had been fixed. However, the next day the same thing happened after housekeeping shut the sliding door...once again maintenance came back up (twice) to spray lubricant on the slider. The hotel is on a beautiful beach - what a nice view. This could be the reason we didn't complain too much over the door. The Staff was courteous & check-in went smoothly. The room had a microwave & coffee maker available. The breakfast buffet was good but it was - $21.00 a person...not including tip. Parking - $24.00 a day(valet only)... We didn't try room service but I did have a lemonade by the pool for $10.00! We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant for dinner - instead we ate at Il Mulino in the Auqualina hotel for our anniversary (wonderful experience!! The pools are nice - a lot of kids/families. Sometimes that pool could have been cleaner. Once pool was a bit quieter and we moved there after the second day. All in all, we had a nice time.

Nice hotel, but needs improvment

Hotel is very nice, view from the room was great. Air conditioning in our room was leaking and the maid never cleaned the ... balcony. While we were there it rained heavily so there was puddles of water on our balcony, maid never bothered to clean it. It took two days to get lotion put in the bathroom.

The Trump International Beach Resort was a wonderful place for my wife and me to stay during our 10-year anniversary. It was ... quiet, comfortable, and the service staff were very friendly. In fact, the only negative comment I have is that the in-house restaurant where we had breakfast was a little over-priced. I realize that part of the cost was for the experience, but I would have preferred less experience at breakfast with the correspondingly smaller bill. Overall I would recommend this hotel!

The beach and pool areas at the Trump International were better than what was pictured. Staff was very friendly and any ... problem encountered was dealt with immediately. Highly recommended if you want to spend a little more. I think I made the best choice.

I expected more from a luxury hotel propery. I upgraded to a deluxe ocean view suite, and only received a partial ocean ... view. The queen size beds where more like full size beds. The bathroom was also very tiny. No water pressure and a couple towels were soiled. For the dollars spent...it was not worth it. On a positive note, the poolside staff was very attentive and nice. I did not like how they let children run freely around the pool though. The shuttle bus service was very nice too...being that the location of this hotel meant pricey cab rides to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.

The entire staff was very professional and friendly. The accomodations and facility was very clean with beautiful landscape ... and view. I had a very relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this to a friend..single or with family and business associates as well.

Nightlife hint, Short Drive
It is about a 20-30 min drive to south beach. The closer you get to the beach go over a couple of streets to stay off of Collins and Ocean drive. If you like to dance as well as watching girls and guys dance...GO TO MANGOs. I'm not a teeny booper and I had a blast!!!! Mansions is great too!!! Nikki beach is fun, but 21yr old crowd and techo.

Nice hotel. Very slow elevators. Some staff were great others were just OK. Difficult to just get a cup of coffee in the ... morning. it took a long time at the breakfast bar in the lobby.

This was a very comfortable place to stay, with high quality staff and quests. This stay was a place to relax and has nearby ... places to go such as South Beach and plenty of shopping that the shuttle will provide. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The pool and beach were pleasant without a bunch of partiers. I would definately stay here again soon.
