Treasure Island has no concept of customer service. We could have gotten more amenities at a Motel 6. The fitness room was ... closed, so they had a tiny replacement room with about 5 pieces of equipment. There was no complimentary coffee, water or tea. No free internet. For 14.99 you could purchase 24 hours of unsecured internet access. I recommend staying along Fremont street or at a business hotel. Total waste of money.

HeatherS. Nov 3, 2009
I have stayed at TI many times as well as many other hotels on the strip. I was not happy with my room on this trip at all. ... I could hear EVERYTHING in the hallway outside my room as well as the guys next door talking. I could hear their TV as much as my own. Maybe you really do get what you pay for? The hotel as a whole I still like. There are better rooms, I got the bottom of the barrel this time!

Kel Nov 2, 2009
We managed to extend our 4 day stay in Vegas, at our amazing timeshare, but still had to pay for the room at TI that we ... reserved incase we needed to move for the last night. 24 hours notice for a cancellation meant that we still had to pay full price for our reservations. It's too bad the hotel did not give us any incentive to cancel our reservations - they could have sold the room to another traveller during this busy holiday. Instead we called some local friends and had them use the room, just for fun.

We stayed at TI during the AARP convention. The location was perfect. The hotel was not one of the newest but very ... satisfactory. The coffee shop had great food. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The only negative remark is about the pool area. If you stay during the week-end, this area is taken over by young adults and loud music/DJ. We are not adverse to having a good time but we couldn't even get into the pool. Too much wild behavior and drinking.

Great trip!
shot Oct 31, 2009
We celebrated our tenth anniversary at the TI last week, and were very pleasantly surprised. I was expecting much pirate ... kitsch, but the rooms were newly redecorated and sleek, and the casino was fun and low-key. Some very rowdy partiers were strolling the hallways on our floor the first night, and we were amazed (and grateful!) at how well our room was soundproofed. The pool area was lovely and also remarkably quiet considering the action on the strip outside and the hotel's proximity to the highway (very convenient for daytrips/leaving for the airport!). The hotel is in a great location, kind of "mid-strip," and we walked almost everywhere. Would recommend to anyone.

Modern rooms, beware of "resort fee!"
Rups Oct 29, 2009
The rooms were imaculate. The housekeeping was top-notch, courteous, and went above and beyond expectations. The fitness ... room is currently under remodel. At least I hope so, since it was stuffed in what appeared to be a conference room. The reason I booked this hotel over others was for the fitness facility, so I was highly disappointed when I arrived. The valet (specifically the head valet man) was absolutely rude. He spoke to me as though I didn't matter. Just based on his interaction, I would be likely to find a different hotel to stay at next time. Lastly, read the fine print as there is a $20+tax fee due upon check-in.
