Great compromize for the prize!

The hotel was what we expected for the prize. Higher than the average were the staff (friendly and helpful) and the room (big ... and clean). Good location if you have a car: you can reach beaches and restaurants in few minutes. We stayed there with a young baby and it was comfortable at all. Good breakfast. We recommend it!

they said there was a microwave, and fridge, and coffeemaker in rooms. none were there...they said they meant to fix that. ... would have stayed somewhere else had I known that. we ended up losing food over that. we had bought perishables with us that had to be thrown out. the staff were nonexistant....the rooms were nice for the price, but be honest about your place.

Go to the Zooquarium, it is a short drive towards Dennis on Rt.28. This is great for kids or the kids at heart.

The Pancake Man was a nice spot to eat breakfast. They offer good, fresh food. Very nice waitresses.

We went to DJ's Family Sports Bar, which is all about sandwiches, ribs and wings. Don't ask for pasta -- they don't have it. The food was good, but I really wish we'd stopped by the Brazilian barbecue joint we passed on the way to the motel. It doesn't seem to have a yellow pages listing, but it apparently had an enthusiastic clientele.

1st room, 1st nite was stinky (some kind of strong chemical smell, cleaner) and my wife had a headache and swollen eyes when ... she woke up. 2nd nite we were given another room after complaining and was much better. It was okay for the low price.

scary on the outside but nice on inside

just went for overnight to see a concert at the cape cod melody tent when we got to the hotel it was not very appealing and ... parking lot was like a lake due to recent rain. lobby really wet and musty. i was preparing myself for the worst when i opened the door into my room however i was very happy to see a nice clean and spacious room. we basically just needed a place to sleep so it was fine. did not use pool, playground or have breakfast so i can't comment on those.

The outside of the front area could use some sprucing up but don't let that sway you from checking in. The room were ... recently renovated and very clean and large size. Beds (matress and box spring look new and are comfortable. Mgmt very nice and accomodating. Provided early check-in and other types of assistance. They mentioned bathrooms to be renovated in the near future. Lodging rates super affordable. Great location to take day trips from. An hour from Providence town and 1/2hr from Woods hole to take ferry to Martha's vineyard. Will definitely stay there next visit to Cape Cod area.

It was really nice. The bed was really comfortable and the staffs were friendly. The location was really great also, it was ... in the center of a lot of attractions. It didn't have a hair dyer or internet and it disappointed me a little but it was ok. Besides that, it was a really nice stay.

The best deal on the Cape, this hotel may not look like much on the outside, but it's got it where it counts. The rooms are ... large and tastefully decorated and admirably soundproofed (an unexpected advantage in staying by an airport). The staff was helpful, even though we showed up to check in four HOURS early. We slept so well we missed out on the free breakfast, but there were signs of a full waffle station, in addition to the usual juice/bread/coffee offerings. Yes, there is *technically* an inside pool, but don't count on swimming laps in it, unless you consider four strokes to be a lap. P.S. If you have a AAA membership, check with the Travelodge Web site to see if you can't get t a better deal through it.
