i went to cape cod to visit friends i hadn't seen in a long time. this hotel was very nice and comfortable and centrally ... located. the desk clerk was super.she went out of her way to fill my request for extra coffee and powdered cream,even opening up the breakfast room in order to get the items i needed.very cheerful as well.

Most breakfast and dinner spots were a short drive away. However, The Summer Shack was just down the street and across Rte. 28 overlooking a marina with outdoor tables to appreciate a pretty sunset. Not a big or fancy menu but we sat there with a drink and split an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

We were looking for a clean and inexpensive hotel/motel with the intention of being outdoors most of the time and using it ... just for sleeping. The motel worked just fine within this plan. The room was small and plain but was well-maintained. The bed was firm and comfortable. The swimming pool was postage-stamp sized and the downstairs rooms had the potential to be noisy. A number of smokers were staying there so insist on a non-smoking room if that's your thing. The 2nd floor rooms were away from the cars and seemed quieter; we were fortunate to have quiet neighbors. The hotel/motel was right in the middle of Cape Cod and there were tons of activities and restaurants from which to choose. The price was right for Cape Cod in mid-summer and we were happy with our choice.

Location was great. Room was tiny but clean. The mustiness was the real issue that we just couldn't seem to get used to the ... entire stray. Clerk was really nice and sent us to a great pizza place.

Hotel was sufficient for our travel needs, clean room, comfortable beds, fridge in room, continental breakfast was cereal ... juice toast coffe & bagels, which was fine to start the day. there were plenty of breakfast places near hotel. Kayaking was right across the street on Bass river which was fantastik and afordable. We were overall very pleased with this motel. There was a town beach close by which was very nice...flew kite there. It was located right in the heart of everything cape cod.

As a matter of fact get anywhere early we beat all the big crowds and made for a very enjoyable time. we got to Province Town at 8 am made a reservation for a whale watch went to breakfast all before hardly anyone was there. Got to national Sea Shore Nausset Light Beach at 8 am and was the 4th group on beach...within 1 hour the beach was packed! Nausset Light was a beatiful beach.
