On our first night, we complained about very noisy guests using the pool (right outside our room) after hours and was told ... that because they were a "special" group that had paid a lot of money, the manager had approved the late(until 3AM) pool use and there was nothing they could do except ask them to quiet down. This had no apparent effect. We were not offered another room. This same thing happened two nights in a row, so we checked out and spent our third night elsewhere. This hotel is highly overrated in the description that was available. There was nothing "upscale" or "well-appointed" about it, and we are NOT hard-to-please people! The bed was uncomfortable and unsupportive, and the linen in poor condition that did not fit the mattress so it would stay in place. There was little or no sound insulation around the windows and door, so outside noise was very loud and hard to ignore. I would only recommend this hotel to someone I wanted to take revenge on.

We ended up leaving and not staying. The lobby was great but when we went to the room, it was like a motel. It opened to ... the outside. The room was old and outdated and smelled strong of mold. My eyes and nose started pouring. It was really bad. I couldn't stay! They said they had problems with mold and were fixing to do a remodel. Hope it's soon.

The room was very damp and had a musty moldy smell. When I asked if there was another room I could move to I was told that ... the hotel was completely booked. So I went online and to see if I could make another reservation and found there were plenty of rooms available. So I went back to explain this to the front desk. The woman behind the desk was more concerned with her text message conversation than dealing with me. She kept saying that nothing was available. Needless to say I got no where and was stuck with the disgusting room I had. I highly recommend not staying here. Save yourself the trouble as there are plenty of other quality options.

I was very disappointed as I selected this hotel because it provided shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Due to bad weather ... we arrive at 12:30 pm to find that we had no way to get to the hotel as the shuttle bus stopped at 12:00 pm. When we arrived at the hotel I was asked for a credit card so they could take a deposit of 30 dollars a day which for me totaled out to be $120.00 even though the rooms were already paid in advance. I gave them cash as I did not trust to give them my credit card number. So far this is taxi cab and down deposit cost. If you wanted a cup of coffee in the morning they had a one cup coffee pot in your room with two packages of coffee and you could buy your water for $2.00 in which there was a sign on the dresser. The first day the room was not cleaned no beds made or clean towels. For towels we were given two bath towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth. I do not think in the four nights there that clean sheets or towels were provided (but not sure because by the 3rd night they were folded). There were stains on the sitting chairs that were provided in the room and the air conditioner did not work well and was beat up, there were stains on the bathroom door (I have pictures). The diner that was in the hotel was very expensive, too expensive for me, they did have another diner but I believe it was Asian type food-it did seem reasonably priced. When I checked out the lady behind the desk this time was very pleasant. She did however call for someone to check our room before she would give me back my deposit and we provided ourselves with other transportation back to the air port as we did not trust that they would get us there on time. As we were visiting family members in that area we were not at the hotel much and mainly used it to clean up and sleep. When talking to the lady at the desk during check out she explained that it was up to the third party seller - Cheap Tickets to tell us that they only ran the shuttle bus until 12:00 midnight even when due to bad whether your plane arrives late and that they should of forwarned us that they would be wanting a down deposit. All I know someone should have - and I did check the website of the hotel and there also was no mention of these things.

Decent location for a one night stay

The hotel is near the Tampa International Airport. It is a decent hotel for a simple one night stay. The bar within the hotel ... is very nice. It has a nice atmosphere and serves a good menu. The hotel staff itself, except one lovely lady during the morning hours, was pretty lousy. They simply weren't interested in their guest. The rooms itself were pretty old fashioned and smelled a bit awkward. Use it just for a night if you have a flight leaving early in the morning or when you have just arrived. That is it, nothing more and nothing less.

being located near "strip clubs" made for an unusual clientle around the hotel. The place needs a makeover. However for the ... price, it was OK. A nice and friendly front desk clerk would certainly help.

The place is a rat hole! The "fitness center" was a joke. The beds were cheap/too hard. There was an open gap under the door; ... I could stick my hand under it to the outside. Air and bugs could come in. The rooms are all adjoining and there was SO much noise coming from the other room until 3:00 a.m. We called Orbitz the next day and wanted to move to another hotel, but we could not get out of the reservation! Will never book through Orbitz again!

Best ONLY for someone looking for an affordable place just to crash in. OK just because of the location & price. Good option ... for the traveler on a tight budget who has to stay in that location. Not so sure about leisure traveler. Staff can be more friendly & helpful. Near to airport & downtown. Most annoying thing was that started doing some kind of plumbing work in the middle of night! made lot of noise & turned off the faucet without any warning or information! Would refer BUT with caveats.

Great night for quick stay. A/C in room was my only issue which really wasn't keeping the room cold but other than that my ... stay was fine.
