Great Location
baseball traveler Jul 28, 2009
This hotel was great. Everyone on staff was wonderful, the room was beautiful and big and its location could not be beat. It ... is perfectly located in downtown, right next to a Metro station and Busch Stadium. I would definately recommend this hotel, or stay there again.

2N stay-great hotel/dodgy parking
Enigma Jun 8, 2009
Terrific hotel. Good service. Bed and Bath are amazing. Gym is top-notch as well. On a sour note, we self-parked and had ... some issues. The lot is extremely close to the hotel-I actually think it is likely quicker to self-park than valet. However, the gentlemen running the parking lot was abrasive and downright hostile to hotel patrons parking in "his" lot. Acted put out when we accessed the lot (initially said he didn't know if there were any spots available), and then upon leaving the final time jumped out in front of our car in a menacing fashion and acted like we were doing something wrong by leaving the lot. Demanded the paper/disposable hanging parking tag and instructed us on how I was to pull out of the lot, because "he wasn't changing a tire if we ran over the curb"??? Not sure what his deal is. I would still stay here again, other than dealing with the parking attendant this was a very good experience.

An absolute steal for the quality!
MLJ the Road Warrior May 31, 2009
Adjacent to Busch Field, the traffic can be a hassle before and after Cardinals games, but this is the only negative comment ... I could make. The Westin is an excellent value for the location, quality of the facilities, and the friendly mid-Western service. This is a great choice of a hotel, and if you do go for a Cardinals game, you can walk to and from the game!

We checked in after a ballgame. Super close to the ballpark. Easy in and out parking. Perfect service. Great room. They ... upgraded us without charge as our room wasn't ready yet. We'd go back in a minute.

Excellent Hotel!
2000atlanticgt May 25, 2009
We were in town for just one night to visit family the next day. Because of the great location right next to the St. Louis ... Cardinals baseball stadium we were able to pick up some tickets to the game about 10 minutes after we arrived. That was a nice surprise! The hotel room was much larger than I had expected, very clean, and all of the hotel staff were very courteous and professional. Only complaint with the staff was with the valet staff on departure. They were not very friendly, did not offer to help my wife with her bag, and just handed us the guys to the car not even stepping out from behind their desk. I very rarely use valet but expect better service than that when I do. Room had a great view of the ballpark across the street and was much larger than I expected. The bathroom had a nice large shower with dual shower heads and a large tub that my wife really enjoyed relaxing in after the game. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Once my head hit the pillows I was out and did not move until morning. Morning did come early though because there is a train station (subway) right next to the hotel that did make a little noise. I lived in Japan for a couple years and was use to the train station noises so it was not that big of a deal but it could be for some people.

Best we've had in St. Louis!
Cards fan May 25, 2009
The hotel is directly across from Busch Stadium, which made our walk to the game even more convenient. It is also within ... walking distance to the Arch. Although I had typed in on the Orbitz site that I needed a room for four guests, our reservation confirmed we only had one bed in our room. I called the Westin, and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating with this situation. We arrived before check-in to see if we could park our car in their lot, they enthusiastically replied they would, and they even allowed us to check-in early, and called my cell phone while we were at the Cardinals game to let me know our room was ready and it had two beds. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and had extremely friendly staff. This is the best hotel we've had in St. Louis, by far! We will return again!

Perfect for baseball fans or just for folks who enjoy being treated really well.

This is regarding the Westin St. Louis: You can request a room DIRECTLY across from the new BUSCH stadium and actually walk ... right across one little street to get to the gate. The view stadium side is spectacular; other sides may be nice, too, but I mean this was like a postcard of St. Louis. The hotel is beautiful, the staff will go out of their way to make sure you get what you want RIGHTTHEN; room service has never been this fast in my experience and hot items were hot and cold items were cold. They will customize your order to the best of their ability (which is pretty darn good) and the beds are absolutely decadently comfortable. It is so q1uiet once you close your hotel room door you could sleep for days. Plenty of room to plug in cameras, computers, etc.; the bathrooms are bigger than most hotel rooms and you can float in the tubs and never touch the side of the showers...sound like we had a great stay? We did!
Traveler type: Business
Again, busch Stadium is right across the street, but there is shopping (Huge Macy's, etc.,) nearby and if you must leave instead of enjoying their fantastic room service menu, there is a great chinese place that delivers along with several other nice places to do pretty muc anything you'd want to do. Have fun, not that you could NOT have fun.
