I Work in this field I travel a lot.I just think i was that one customer that fell threw the cracks. When i first got to the ... hotel everything was great. The staff was very nice the front door man was the best.I got into my room it was Ok I had requested a king got a queen that's fine.just to find the bathroom not to be up to 4 stars as requested the shower needs to be updated the grout is mildew and leeks down the hall not fun because the carpet stays wet told them about this matter 4 times on the 3 time the front desk girl said i told my gm?On my first night I had 3 friends in town and we got lost from our group so I said lets go back to my room and wait for them,as we walked into the hotel the night doorman told me i was not aloud to bring my friend up to my room,I was taken back by this so the night mgr [...] came out and talk to me and I said I was not going to let my friends wait out in the rain.On the next night the fire alarm was pulled about 230 in the morn there was nobody on the street to let us know what was going on.House keeping did a good job all but one day it seamed like they walked in and out.One the day before i ck out i got my wifi bill i called down to tell them i had one more night, they said oh yah sorry so i stepped out of my room it locked me out its no big deal just that when you call down to tell them something the right hand doesnt tell the left @ the front desk.the last thing is that if your on the right side of the building you will listen to the buses all night not fun.In the good points this is a nice hotel the mint bar is a good first drink place.there are a lot of people that work hard at there job and go out of there way. From this hotel you could walk to about any place.I was that one person that fell threw the cracks,I would stay here again but,I stay in westin about 50 times a year they just need to take a good look at this hotel again to give it 4 stars.

Wonderful location in Dublin.
NiNi Oct 12, 2009
My husband and I frequently stay in Westin Hotels and find that they are very reliable and lovely. The location in Dublin ... was perfect for the occasion of seeing our friends with the Washington Ireland Program. It is near Trinity University, the Castle, and the Dail. The room was very comfortable and we only had a bit of a problem with the room being too warm. The engineers seemed to be working on it so one night was good for sleeping. It was nice to find that my recommendation to a friend was a good one as she was delighted by the hotel and the location.

Walk up Grafton street just past Trinity and go to Bewley's coffee and tea shop. Famous for it's stain glass windows, wood and tile...a true step back in time and a place that famous writers came for their coffee or tea. Delightful!

Hotel is OK, but.......
Gary Oct 11, 2009
Hotel was OK, but for a Westin and a five star rating there were some disappointments. Room was decorated well, comfortable, ... excellent bed, etc. But...no clock radio with alarm, safe in the closet did not work, no turn down service, single vanity in bathroom, one bath robe instead of two for a couple occupying the room, parking charge of 25 Euros per night, and an automatic, mandatory 1 Euro charge for UNICEF!!! Beautiful hotel, friendly & helpful staff, excellent location, good breakfast available but expensive. It just lacked the little amenities that should be provided for a five star rating. The previous 3 nights we were spoiled staying at the Hayfield Manor in Cork.

The Best Location
EuroTraveler Sep 13, 2009
My gosh, everything you want in Dublin is extremely near this location. THE best location. All the staff were extremely ... helpful and nice. The room was very nice as were the bathrooms, though I'm not convinced the room was as advertised, with regards to a "heavenly bed". Also, I'm not convinced that a 5 star rating is warranted; maybe 4 stars. Nonetheless, it was very nice, allbeit pricey at $272 per night for what we recieved. All in all, if you have the money, this is a very nice place to stay.

Fabulous hotel and location
Single Female Traveler Sep 12, 2009
The room was spotless. Very comfy bed and tasteful decor. Large bathroom with tub and shower. I had one queen bed. The ... room is a bit small but I was the only person in it so it was perfect for me. The huge tub was a godsend at the end of the day after touring the city. Beautiful hotel and helpful staff. The cherry on top is the location. Walk out the front door and to your left is Grafton street for shopping. Across the street you follow Fleet Street straight down into the Temple Bar District. Also, the Air Coach to the airport stops in front of the hotel along with the city bus. If I return to Dublin, this is where I will stay again. I began my Ireland tour with 3 days at the Westin and when I returned to Dublin at the end of my tour I made the mistake of booking another famous hotel in Dublin. I will not make that mistake again. I longed for my room at The Westin.

Top Notch!
jk Aug 29, 2009
An absolutely TOP NOTCH hotel. I've never experienced such amazing customer service! After only a brief exchange with [...], ... the Events Manager, I wish I could have an event there just to have her plan it! The rest of my staff encounters were all wonderful as well.I booked the Classic room each time and both rooms I stayed in were beautiful. They overlooked the atrium, which gave me plenty of light. The bed and linens& wow! When they say "Heavenly Bed", they mean heavenly!!! The bathrooms with big tubs& sigh.I had a few meals via room service and was not disappointed. Even used the workout room, which I found kind of dark, but supplying everything I wanted. As a fresh off the plane traveler, first time in Dublin, I can't imagine being happier anywhere else. This place put my trip off to a great and relaxing start.I'm ready to move in!

Fantastic Location and Service
JMC from ATL Jul 6, 2009
The Westin is conveniently located across the street from Trinity college, shopping on Grafton street and Temple Bar. The ... service was superior and they catered to our every need. My only complaint is that nobody was available to assist with curbside bags when you arrive (we arrived around 5pm). However, once we managed to get our bags in the lobby they gladly took care of getting them to our room. I would definitely stay here again when in Dublin.
