Clean, comfortable and convenient
C & M Sep 29, 2009
My friend and I had to make sudden arrangements due to very unfortunate circumstances. [...] very pleasantly surprised when ... we arrived. The lobby was inviting, the staff was friendly and helpful. All rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. New Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap were provided by housekeeping every day. Breakfast was decent. It was nice to have something other than just a continental breakfast. They served pancakes, omlets, sausage, bacon every morning. The location was easy access to the highway which was nice. We would definitely stay here again if we come to visit the Santa Clara area.

Took advantage of recession prices
Mark Sep 27, 2009
Excellent value. Felt guilty taking advantage of recession pricing for a four or five star hotel. Stayed in a 2 room suite, ... with a made to order breakfast, and three evening drinks per person. Stayed an extra day just because of the cost and the high value. Great room, super clean, newly re-finished, quiet, and very friendly staff. Would have spent over $200 + for this room pre-recession, it was a steal at $83.

The Plaza Suites has great rooms, with actual, separate living rooms! Vanity was outside the bathroom, a plus to allow two ... people to get ready at once. Hallways are a bit dark, but the rooms more than made up for it.

Kelly Aug 31, 2008
We were very impressed with the cleanliness, quality, and convenience of this hotel. We weren't sure what to expect because ... we've never heard of this hotel, but it was wonderful. The best bang for your buck. Parking is free. Wi-Fi was a minimal service. The free cocktail drinks and full buffet breakfast was AMAZING. Even though it's right off the freeway, the rooms are very quiet. I love the suite part of the room because we had our toddler go to bed early, while the hubby and I watched tv and used the internet with our laptop in the living room area. We will definitely stay there again. I didn't think the front desk was very friendly.

Great Service and amenities
Tracy Jul 27, 2008
This was a wonderful hotel experience, the check-in process was expedited, and took about thre minutes. The service was ... outstanding, the special needs we had were no problem and there was plenty of staff to provide service and the little touches. The staff was available and friendly even in the late hours and early morning hours for assistance with the business center, and much of the bussiness center service was complimentary. The suite was comfortable and well stocked. This was a great choice for a base of operation for traveling around the Santa Clara, San Jose, and Palo Alto area. Additionally, there were plenty of eateries within walking distance. We had a great stay, I will stay here again when traveling in the area.

Nice place to stay
Barbara Jun 16, 2008
Very spacious. And quiet. Even though there were several young people staying, was peceful at nigh, even by the pool. Hot ... breakfast very filling and there were many choices. Hard to find the place at first but location actually close to freeways, Great America and restaurants. Biggest complaint, and it's a bit petty, is that, while we got a free USA TODAY newspaper, there were no newstands to buy any other paper, esp on weekends--for a news junkie, that was hard. Great place. Definitely will stay again.

Very accomodating
Linda May 25, 2008
The Plaza Suites was comfortable and the hotel staff was very nice. We had quick check-in and quick check-out. Any time ... we needed directions to somewhere, they provided phone numbers and map directions that were easy to follow. We did not eat at the hotel, except for breakfast and the breakfast was good. We never made it back to the hotel for cocktails, but very generous for having the first 3 drinks free! I definitely would recommend this property to a freind.

We really liked the hospitality of the cocktail hour that was available to guests. This is something that we had not ... experienced elsewhere. The hotel was within walking distance to several nice restuarants. We will consider staying here on our next trip to the Bay Area.
