In Time Square there are boat loads of salesman walking around trying to sell you everything from greyline tours to comedy shows. Please be careful, the salesman don't overcharge, don't worry about that but they will over book comedy shows and you will be stuck waiting for the next one and possibly put yourself out later that you want to be.

The London NYC
George from Boston Sep 8, 2009
We spent Labor day weekend in Time Square check out site, take tours and testing new restaurants. The hotel was in perfect ... proximity to where we needed to be. Staff was very helpful, nice and professional. Room was small but pefect to what we needed. I booked the hotel about three days ahead of time and if I planned ahead I would have gotten a bigger room. All was well though the majority of the time was spend doing activities outside the hotel. Gordon Ramsey's restaurant was fabulous but make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. We are a young couple and don't mind eatinf late at all. If you like an earlier dinner plan ahead.

Wonderful New York Experience
MJ Jul 31, 2009
Our stay at The London NYC was perfect in every way. From the friendly greetings of the bellmen to the knowledgeable service ... of the concierge staff, spacious and beautifully appointed rooms, everything was as it should be. Each night the concierge made a new restaurant recommendation and never sent us astray - from sophisticated cuisine on the upper west side, to simple Thai on 9th Avenue it was all good! The hotel fitness center is also excellent. Well equipped and open 24 hours a day, it made exercising while on vacation easy and enjoyable. I will definitely return to the London NYC the next time I go to New York for business or pleasure!

I LOVE NEW YORK & London NYC
Sherry Jul 28, 2009
I loved the London NYC hotel. The location was just blocks away from Times Square. The hotel is uber trendy in decor but in a ... good way.We were on a high floor and had a fantastic view. The room was unbelievably large, even by Texas standards where we're from. Cool double headed shower. Electric-controlled drapes, very 007.Ipod dock, 2 flat screens. Wonderful soaps! House car will take you to places nearby. I discovered this late in my stay. Minor complaints: the larger flat screen faces the sofa, not the bed. The maids did not clean the room as thoroughly as they should have. That's a big thing with me and the only thing that kept me from rating the hotel a Perfect 5. Stray hairs on bathroom floor from previous guests is kinda' gross. Coke splashed on wall, at least I hope it was Coke. At these prices I shouldn't have had to tidy anything up.

Eat a hot dog from the street vendor by the big "LOVE" sign...I think that's on 53rd? The hotel staff will know or just ask someone where's the big "LOVE" sign? His are grilled and delicious. Get a slice of pizza in Grand Central Station. YUM!

The London NYC was one of the best hotels and experiences I have encountered while traveling. All of the rooms are huge ... beautiful modern suites. The Staff could not have been more accommodating and Gordon Ramsey's restaurant that is part of the hotel is a hot spot in NYC.

Nice, not thrilling, but nice
Jill Jun 28, 2009
Good location. Right near the Broadway show we were seeing. We were on a high floor (48) and were treated to some ear ... popping in the fast elevator. The reservation was for a king suite - but we got a queen suite. According to the girl at the desk, they ran out of king beds....same rate for the queen. It was disappointing. Room was nice, bed was small and not very comfortable. Nice bar downstairs to have a drink in before retiring to our room. Considering what I spent, I didn't feel like I got my money's worth.
