Service was exceptional. Staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The capital area was beautiful. We went ... to tobacco road. The Food was excellent. Not too many out and about on the weekend. City seemed to be deserted. The canal walk was beautiful and immaculately clean, but again no people around, made us a little nervous. There were a lot of new residential buildings that were beautiful and empty on the canal and riverfront. Seems like more of a business area rather than a tourist area with the exception of the capital buildings and governors mansion. Food at the hotel was excellent. Went to the hot restaurant "the Boathouse". They didn"t take reservations. Went at 9:30pm and there still was a 2 hour wait. Went back to the hotel and ate at Lemaire a great 5 star restaurant with very reasonable prices.
