Iron Horse IS A ROCK STAR!!!
Frugal With Standards Nov 2, 2009
I've never had a better hotel stay, even at a Four Seasons--EVER! The room, restaurant & bar were the BEST! When I checked ... out, and later needed to stay another night, they gave me the same rate. Location was near everywhere I wanted to be, including the Harley Davidson Museum.

For LGBT travelers, this is THE ONLY hotel to stay at in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!!! Walking distance from all the bars, across the river from Downtown, and in the historic Walkers Point area of the city!

Chic, ultra-modern hotel
30-something City Guy Apr 22, 2009
I was in Milwaukee on a business trip and stayed at the Iron Horse. I was very impressed. Modern recently converted ... warehouse with a very friendly staff. Nice bar served food and drinks late and the library was a nice sunny place to read, work, and have breakfast. Would definitely stay there again! It is kind of isolated in the warehouse district so there isn't much around... yet.

Very Friendly Staff
Raymond Nov 24, 2008
We enjoyed our stay at the Iron Horse. It was my first time staying at this hotel and staying in Milwaukee. The room was ... wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The common spaces were very nice; we really enjoyed having breakfast in the library in the morning. We received a daily paper and there was excellent reading material in the library as well. There were some good restaurants within walking distance. It is a little out of the way from the central downtown. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.
