Don't miss breakfast at Camille's. Clean, colorful and friendly. Food was creative and delicious. Eggs benedict, omlettes, salmon/bagel and home fries are all recommended. Very fair prices. Definitely will plan another breakfast to enjoy in Key West.

Had a marvelous time
Roland Nov 6, 2009
We had a great stay at The Inn, the staff is friendly, the rooms spacious, clean, and a private balcony. Large ... flatscreen, coffeemaker and fridge. One small comment on the shower which didn't produce that much water. The pool was one of the best I've seen, with very beautifull landscaping, and even a small beach. The jacouzzi was nice and warm, and the service at the pool bar and restaurant great. Even the opening hours of the pool were good, and if you didn't make noise, you could swim in the middle of the night, AWESOME! For the Key West busy life you have to drive a few miles, but for us wasn't that a problem. I would stay there next time again.

Would stay here again!
Traveler Nov 1, 2009
The hotel creates an updated tropical island image. The lobby was tastful and the concierge was very helpful. The rooms were ... clean and comfortable with responsive a/c unit. In-room coffee was a nice way to start the day. The most memorable detail was the wonderful pool surrounded by palm trees and coral. (Even the rooster in the parking lot was considerate and did not 'doodle' until after 8:30 AM.) We found it nice to be a bit away from Duval Street. It was an easy drive into town for mingling, but quiet and relaxing to return to the Inn and just relax at the pool.

It was a nice hotel... at first I was a little taken aback because I thought it was actually on the ocean side and there were ... only stairs leading to the second floor. [...] At the end though, I was happy. The room was spacious, clean and had a beautiful view. The kids LOVED the pool!

The staff was very friendly, and the rooms are incredibly nice, even though they are a little on the small side. The pool ... was amazing, I spent so much time out there between swimming, sunning, and drinking at the tiki bar, which was very reasonable by the way. If I ever go back I would definitely stay here again, just to get away from the noise and smell of Duvall Street, which isn't that far away.

Hotel was great, had pool side room. Didnt use restuarant or bar as made own arrangements for food from close supermarket ... where I brought food and used in room fridge. Was $15 cab to min area - one way, so I opted for bike hire, bout half hour bike ride at nice comfortable pace. Hotel staff helped with day trips and bike area. Only bad thing was internet was off and on - could get in loby tho when reception wasnt working.

Nice location. Not very close to the old city and Duval street but that's not so bad as old town is noisy. No beach close as ... beaches are on the other side of the island. Great pool though. Hotel staff was very helpful and nice. Marina a few miles away. Rooms are small but comfy. Pictures are accurate of hotel. I would stay again but maybe not in summer as it was hot and humid.

The Inn at Key West
Monkey 66 Sep 3, 2009
Don't believe the star rating of this hotel. It is at best an average three stars. The rooms are very very small (they are so ... small that the cupboard is in the bathroom!!!). It was not crowded yet it took them forever to check us in and despite us calling in advance for a crib and requesting it again at check in, it took them 8 hours to deliver it (we finally had it around 11pm at night!!!). If you are looking for a "cheapish" hotel with no service and located a good 15 minutes drive from downtown then go for it. Otherwise avoid at all cost!! I would not have paid more than 75 $ for this hotel had I known what it was. The reviews did not really describe the hotel as it is today.

Nice place, clean rooms. Had a room in the back, first floor, free parking right outside the room is a plus for ... families. Location is not the most convenient for exploring Key West, but good enough. There is some all day parking closer to Duval for $10 a day.

Hard to find parking in the main areas of Key West. Metered parking is enforced very strictly. There are some $10 per day lots near the Pirate Soul museum, but there are no in and out privileges.

It was hard to get in and out of the parking lot. Very busy Highway. We wanted a room on the upper level to admire the view ... of the Gulf. We were on the backside with no view. We were moved to a room in front, but could only see the Gulf if we had a car not in the parking space in front of our room. Everthing was beautiful, but would have enjoyed more if we could have had front upper level facing the Gulf.

GREAT HOTEL!!
Florida Fan Aug 12, 2009
The hotel was a great value and very accommodating. The pool was fantastic. As far as what you see in the pictures, what ... you see is what you get. They aren't deceiving (like some other hotels)! The staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. Although it is not located extremely close to Duval St, it is only about a 5-6 minute drive to downtown. If you are new to the Key West area, the concierge was a wealth of information with things/activities to do during your stay. They will even book the activities for you. It was our family's first time at the Inn, and we look forward to staying at the same hotel during our next visit.

If you do one thing while in key West, go take the dolphin trip with Wild Dolphin Adventures. They have a website. It was a laid-back trip out to the middle of the ocean, where we snorkeled in the ocean with 20 or 30 wild, free dolphins. It was an absolutely amazing experience, completely un-touristy. It felt like we were on a personal tour with an old friend- absolutely wonderful. I think it ran us about $85 a person, which is at least $100 less than the "pet the captive dolphin" places. We were out on the boat for hours. They don't take more than 6 people per trip, and there were only three of us that day. He even took us snorkeling in the coral reef, and explained all kinds of little things to us. The other must-see is Llyod's Bike Tour- a guy from the Bronx who gives bike yours of Key West. Once again, very un-touristy, and he had us totally entertained the entire time. I think it ran $35/person and lasted about 2 hours. Worth every penny and more!

Take the trolley around the island, it stops at all the important stops. You can get back on at any time that day.

Take the ship Yankee Freedom to Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson which was built in the 1800's. Its a full day of fun with both breakfast and lunch provided Site Seeing and great Snorkeling. You will need to snorkel to the back side of the Fort for the best ocean life. The fee is $160 but its a whole day of entertainment.
