Great Hotel, Excellent Staff
Donna Jun 30, 2009
This hotel was in a great location, the staff was wonderful and friendly and the rooms though a little small were very nice ... and clean. The bar was nice and there is outside seating.

Great Historic Hotel
DallasTraveler Jun 10, 2009
I travel a lot for business and this was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for the price. I had a great corner room ... with a lot of natural light that you don't typically get in historic hotels. Very satisfied with the room. The only downside was the extremely slow internet connection. I felt like I was back on dial-up.

Lots of great restaurants nearby.

Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, and the Georgia Children's Museum were all within a 15 minute walk. There are probably a few other little adventures tucked away within a couple of blocks. There is a MARTA train station on the same block as the Ellis.

Close to Aquarium and the World of Coke.

Ellis is Excellent!
Mr. Bear May 23, 2009
The Ellis is a lovely hotel. The bathrooms are wonderful. The rooms, while not large, are nicely appointed, and have a good ... flow. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was amazing! They were the most helpful team of individuals I've ever had the pleasure of being looked after. They were quick to offer any assistance above and beyond what we asked. The location (aside from parking) is great. Parking is either handled by you, or by a contracted valet at $22 per day. $5 parking is available within a block, many will find the $22 worth it. 24-hours a day you can ring the valet, and they will have your vehicle at the door in 5-10 minutes. The restaurant/bar is decent food but expensive considering the quality and quantity of what we received.
