great value for the money

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location, safe to walk about and you can find anything in KC from Main Street. ...
Traveler type: Couples
Of course the Nelson-Atkins and KC Art Institute are just around the corner. The Plaza is just down the street (in walking distance). And the Jazz/Negro Leagues Museums were easy to find from there, as is Crown Center and Union Station. Even the Steamship Museum is easy to find as it is due north on Main. We enjoyed them all.

My review of The Best Western Seville on the Plaza
Christopher Sep 22, 2008
I was impressed by the fact that on one night, there was a roudy neighbor. The front desk personnel immediately acted to ... quiet the guest. When this happened a second night with another roudy guest, they were evicted. The hotel had no real amenities, but we didn't expect any. The room air conditioner was noisy and rattled. It would have been quieter yet if the bathroom exhaust fan had its own switch instead of being connected to the light. The staff overall was attentive and responsive. I hadn't been in KC for a few years and was disappointed in the way the area had deteriorated, but this wasn't the hotel's fault. It was a great location for the Plaza and Westport.

I stayed at the Best Western Seville during the week of my birthday. Surprisingly enough the choice was a good one. I had to ... go to Kansas for some training and I have to admit, my accomodations were exactly what I needed. The staff was very friendly and the location was close to downtown. I'll probably visit there again.

Great Staff
Bernard Jun 15, 2007
When we first drove up we weren't going to stop because it's on the edge of the run down part of town. We stopped anyway and ... were pleasantly surprised the hotel was much nicer inside and the staff was very hospitable, and knowledgeable about the area. The room was nice, comfortable and centrally located. It was very easy to get around town from this location. Great food abounds, you must check out the plaza district.

It's two steps away from Wild Oats a great natural/organic food store. Where you'll find everything you need.

A Delight
Renee May 28, 2007
Located close to Westport and to the Plaza, the Best Western Seville provided all the amenities we needed for a wonderful ... weekend. The desk personnel were marvelous and helpful...as far as I am concerned, even if the accomodations are good (which they were), it is the personalities of the people at the desk who can make or break a visit. These people made it!!!!

Karen Apr 22, 2007
The Best Western Seville had great beds with memory foam type mattress. The water was hot and room was quiet. It is a ... short scenic walk through a fountain park to the Plaza. Breakfast is a little slim, with only breads and an apple or orange, but adequate.
Traveler type: Business
The Plaza is full of dining, entertainment, shopping, carriage rides and beautiful fountains. Just a 5 minutes walk.

GREAT LOCATION
Patricia Apr 21, 2007
This hotel is centrally located for Westport, the Plaza, Crown Center and Downtown. Within walking distance of the ... Nelson-Adkins and the Kemper art museums and a very nice running/walking trail. The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I like the atmosphere of the smaller hotel. Good shuttle service to selected areas.
