[...] the "guest suite" was small, cramped, and dirty. The bathroom was in need of repair and maintenance, the shower rod was ... resting on top of the shower, causing the curtain to lay half way on the shower floor, the shower head was adjustable but bounced around in the wall. the bedroom was so small you could get a drink out of the fridge and was the dishes whilst sitting on the bed. the shelf above the kitchen area had some decorations on it with a 1/4 inch coat of dust on them and the shelf. nothing was cleaned above 5 feet high. The vertical blinds over the french doors were broken and missing giving you hardly any privacy. also the owner of the "Beach Bungalow" lives on premises and has his room on the other side of the door in the bedroom, so no romantic encounters in the bedroom. on a personal note he was pruning the bushes right outside the bathroom window whilst i was taking a shower, a bit strange to say the least..kind of uncomfortable also.

Incredible private tropical hideaway.

This was one of our best trips ever. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet. We could spend mornings and afternoons on the beach, ... and then head to Duval Street and Mallory Square for evening entertainment. Everyone we had to deal with was very friendly and helpful. We would have no problem recommending the Beach Villas to family and friends.

Parking in Old Town can be a challenge. There is a parking lot on Simonton Street near Greene Street that is $10.00 a day, but only $5.00 on some evenings. This is more convenient than a lot of the street parking.

The unit was very private with a cozy deck. The Location was great. It was away from all of the downtown noise and parties, ... but within a 5 minute scooter drive of all of these activities. We had a wonderful stay. Would come back again.

I had several meals at the "2 Friends" restaurant on Front street. It's a family-run place with great food and service to match.

The perfect vacation!
Holly Island Girl May 26, 2009
This was my first trip to Key West, but it won't be my last. The Beach Villas was the perfect place to stay for someone like ... me who likes a quiet and unique place to stay. All the people at the Fury booth, who gave me my keys and helped me find my way around, were wonderful. Their info steered me away from the tourist traps and into where the locals go, which was where I wanted to go. I'd recommend this lovely place, complete with cat, to all my friends and I'll be staying there the next time I'm in Key West (which won't be long).

Perfect Getaway!

This was a great place. Very relaxing and peaceful. Like a home away from home. It was nice to stay someplace where someone ... takes pride in their place. Not meant for children, more for adults.

The Villa was quiet and restful.Location was fine, beach very close. We were made to travel across the island to Duval street ... to pick the keys up.No one was at the Villa to welcome us.We were fine with it, only that we had to live out of the suitcases because there were no dressers to place our clothes in.We picked this place for privacy and relaxing so it fit that pretty well.

Great Getaway
Melissa Jun 6, 2008
The Beach Villa had a homey feeling. The expansive secluded back porch, complete with grill and hot tub was everything we ... were looking for. It was very quiet and the location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We are already saving to go back. We liked the fact that we could prepare a small meal or were within walking distance to dine out.

Every single thing to do is a short drive away. We rented a scooter and did everything we wanted to do in the short time that we stayed. Loads of things to do and some of them don't cost you a cent...
