New designs were created using South Beach flair resulting in comfortably modern furnishings and decorations. Located directly on the beach, this resort features beautiful Gulf-front views from your private balcony, direct beach access, and memorable sunsets. A short drive to St. Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota. Please note that minimum check-in age is 25. The front desk is open 10am-4:30pm daily. Check in at on-site office. Check-in is at 4pm, check-out is at 11am. Please note that minimum check-in age is 25. If you will be arriving after standard business hours, please call the main office at 866-542-1974, at least 24 hours prior to arrival. The Beach on Longboat Key offers one-bedroom, one-bath units with all the amenities needed for a great Longboat Key vacation. These units come equipped with flat screen TVs, full-size kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a private balcony overlooking the beach.

Misrepresented room description
Older traveler May 8, 2009
Room was hotel style, had no balcony or gulf view as advertised on the web site. Would not refund ANY pre-paid money when ... complaint was lodged with Resort Quest management. Up-grade offered (if we paid the difference between Orbitz payment to hotel and direct reservation price PLUS upgrade difference.) Orbitz would not/could not resolve problems. Extremely steep stairs made it impossible to bring luggage to the room. No elevator or disabled ramp.
