Ok, for a cheap one night stay
Juanita Oct 11, 2008
I needed to stay at the talk of the town hotel for one night while waiting to check into another hotel. I was a little less ... than satisfied when I got into my actual room. It was clean (from what I could see), but everything was so dated. There were visible signs of mildew on various places in the room and some signs of water damage on the ceiling. There was a small kitchenette area, but I don?t think I would have wanted to cook anything there. There were gaps underneath the door that could have easily let small insects into the room. One plus is that the staff was friendly and accommodating. Since I only needed to have a place to stay for one night, it served its purpose, but in hindsight I would be willing to spend a little more money for slightly better conditions, even for one night.

Close Early
Debra Jun 21, 2008
Our plan was late getting in, so we didn't make it to the hotel until around 12am. The staff was very friendly, but ... unfortunately, the bar and restaurant were already closed, as was everything else in town. The hotel was fine. I would stay there again, but would probably go somewhere else first.

Downtown is just a short drive away, where there is plently of shopping and places to eat. We went to the Paddock a couple of times, the food is reasonably priced and the drinks are good.

Close enough to walk to town
Janice Nov 24, 2007
This hotel has recently been updated and everything is clean and new. The staff are very accomodating, there was live ... entertainment by the pool on the weekend. The only problem I had was that there was a lack of towels and the towel provided were skimpy. Other than that, I had a nice stay. If travelers would rather be located in town than in the midst of the resorts, this would be a great choice.

The main town, restaurants, casino, beach (across the street)and shopping were a walk away. Know that every taxi drive is approx. $15 and this is the way to go for those that want the above access.
