First half of stay was in a smoking room, which was an oversized closet and reeked of smoke. Even the hallway. I know I ... asked for it, but have been in hotels that do a better job of "refreshing" the room. Second half of stay was in a nonsmoking room. It was large, very clean and not on the freeway side of the building, so much more restful sleep. Breakfast bar was adequate, but they ran out of coffee too soon. I would stay again because of its proximity to the airport and the price under $50.

Motel 8 is very basic. For an overnight stay with no frills, it is just fine. The beds were comfortable. Location is good, ... between freeway and airport. The only difficulty was finding the entryway into the facility in the dark.

We went to Sacramento to visit our daughter, son & family and attend the 2nd birthday of our grandson. The location of the ... hotel is alright. We preferred a room on the 1st floor but the only thing that bothered us is the people above our room. Children kept running and banging on the floor above us that prevented us from having a good night sleep, up to 1:00 in the morning. The staff though are very nice.

The clock/alarm did not work, but they accomadated with a wake up call. Small room, clean, I checked in, departed for a ... while then came back to sleep. The morning complimentary breakfast was super, cereal, milk, coffee, juice and english muffin, VERY good.

Room had no alarm clock. went to desk for clock, it didn't work, went again for another, it didn't work either. Asked for ... 4:30 wake up call, didn't get. Coffe maker had no pot, went to desk for pot, it didn't fit. Had to put cup under maker and use car key to press button for coffee.

I booked this hotel for its airport shuttle service as I arrived at 9pm & was leaving again on a 7am flight the next ... am...THERE IS NO SHUTTLE SERVICE TO OR FROM THE AIRPORT. IT COST ME $50 FOR A RT TAXI TO GET BACK & FORTH!!!!

Upon my arrival I was greeted in a welcoming manner. The front desk person was friendly, smiled and with me arriving about ... 1:30 am it was comforting to receive this type of service. Throughout my stay, the experience was pleasant. The room was extremely clean, and spacious. Cleaning staff was polite and they were accomodating with supplying my room with clean towels, etc. I most certainly will stay at this Super 8 hotel again. The location was positive (close to the Airport and surrounding locations of my travels). Thanks, Super 8 Sacramento/Airport Area
