I only stayed for one night. First there was a horrible smell in the hallway that can only be described as stale and moldy. ... Also, the walls and doors were very thin so you could hear people walking and talking up and down the hall, as well as doors slamming in the middle of the night. The breakfast was great though!

Location was acceptable. My room overlooked a site of noisy shipping activity taking place early each morning. Breakfast ... lacked protein - I went to Perkins Restaurant, next door, for $9.50, instead. Housekeeping staff responded to my specific requests - and to my offer of a decent tip if they did so! Front desk tried to tie my nights into my frequent traveler account, albeit unsuccessfully. All in all, an OK choice.

We enjoyed our stay and found the room to be very nice. The desk clerk switched us to a different room promptly, when we ... shared that our TV was not working. She tried to repair it but was unable to get it working again. We appreciated her kindness. The hotel was just what we had hoped for.

we stayed here and went to wisconsin dells one day and cave of the mounds another.the rooms were not verry clean. they did ... not change the sheets once the entire 3 nights we were there. and when i asked about the changing of sheets the hotel manager said he doesnt have anything to do with house keeping so he doesnt know what they are supposed to do. he didnt even know if they changed them before we got there!another issue i had with this hotel was all the police where there one night [...]. also they said the room came with 2 beds a couch and a microwave. only one of those was true. there where 2 beds. no microwave and no couch. it was 2 beds crammed together with a tv, heater, and bathroom all in about a 9x9 area.this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in in my life. i will never go back.

This hotel is a good choice for anyone visiting UW, especially the veterinary hospital. I have stayed here with my dog twice ... and it has been clean, inexpensive and the people have been friendly.

The Super 8 Madison South is s one of the best stays we've had in a hotel in a long time. No complaints at all. The room was ... very clean, the pool was clean and not over-chlorinated, and the whirlpool was the most relaxing we've ever stepped into. The water temperature was perfect and the jets were just right - lots of power but not so much it pushed you away from the side. The workout room was very well kept and didn't smell like a locker room like most of them do. They had a nice selection for breakfast and the staff was very acommodating and friendly. Would recommend to anyone!

The Super 8 off the beltline in Madison was very comfortable and the front desk staff were very friendly and courteous. It ... was also close to the alliant energy center. The only drawback was that there were not many food options close by.

The staff was very friendly, however the highway construction going on at the time made the property difficult to reach. The ... amenities were standard for this particular type of hotel/motel. Being more familiar with the area now, I might search for more options next time.
