We are close to many historical and recreational areas. The Du Quion Fairground, Rend Lake and the Fitzgerrell State Recreational area draw visitors from all over.
* The Super 8 features a Complimentary SuperStart Breakfast, Free Local Calls, Free High Speed Wireless Internet access, Free HBO, and cable TV with over 50 channels. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby.
* The Super 8 provides parking for RV's and Trucks and outside outlets for vehicles that need to be plugged in; as well as offering interior corridors. Pets are welcome with a $10 non-refundable fee per pet per night.

Pretty standard, no problems... one odd thing was that our "wake up call" consisted of someone BANGING on our door at the ... appointed time (which turned out NOT to be the right time anyway because the Daylight Saving Time Change had not been observed... so we were an hour early for a breakfast meeting, and *really* would have liked to have slept in that extra 60 minutes... oh, well)

Arrived in Benton on Halloween night (Sat. 10/31/09) for a costume party and could NOT get a cab; apparently there are only 2 in town and they both close for the weekend!

The hotel stay was ok, not bad for the price. Was very quiet, except the air conditioner in the room was quite annoying, but ... other then that was fine.
