I have stayed at other Super 8 Hotels in the past, but this one, by far, so far, has to be the best of them. The rooms were ... clean, comfortable and secure, the staff prompt and courteous, the amenities top notch and the price range a true bargain.

it was a wonderful stay. the customer service was very outstanding, rooms were clean and beds were very comfy with flat ... screen tv... nice location, great parking. the breakfast was great with alot of variety. 6-9pm free cookies, cakes and coffee and had separate game room with WI.. wat more can u ask?? free dvd rental and close by to downtown austin.. i loved it with great price n i will definitely go back there no doubt.

Finally an establishment that lives up to its name. As I found out, this specific Super 8 location is a project of the ... Wyndham group, as they outfitted it to cater to the business traveler (one who might stay at the likes of a Marriott). The place is impeccably clean and for the price is unbeatable. Super 8 price, Marriott luxury. My only complaint would be there is nothing within walking distance (i.e., dining, stores, etc.), as it is somewhat on the edge of town.

My husband I spent a memorable time at Super 8 on 51st in Austin. Just think we went to the oldest and very nice hotel in ... Austin the weekend before and we can honestly say that we enjoyed the Super 8 more. It was so quiet, we loved the breakfasts, outdoor jacuzzi, flat screen tv with a DVD player that works. The bathroom was very clean and like new. I think that is what made it all so beautiful is that this Super 8 was like new! What I loved the most was that my room had a treadmill. In so I was able to watch my favorite TV series and walk at the same time. This was just a super experience for us. Thank you Super 8 Sincerely, Masani and Claudio

Six of us stayed at this hotel. We got a fantastic deal on Orbitz, and we were very pleased with the hotel! From the flat ... screen TV in the elevator to the TX shaped waffles at breakfast, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay! The beds are cozy, and there's even a pillow menu if you'd like a different kind of pillow! Free internet access, too, and very friendly front desk! Also, it was only about 15 minutes to downtown! Thank you, Super 8! We'll be back!!!

Great Value for the Money

We would normally never stay at a Super 8 due to our previous experiences which have been dismal, however, because of the ... good reviews that were posted, we decided to give this one a try. Well, we were pleasantly surprised and would give this Super 8 a definite "thumbs up". The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and they even gave out a "goodie-bag" with a bottle of water, chips and candy. The breakfast buffet had a very good selection and they had a Starbucks coffee machine that made fresh coffee by the cup, (regular, decaf, espresso, latte, etc.) The rooms were very clean and spacious. Although the motel was right next to a major thoroughfare, the noise was not an issue. The only problem we had during our stay was a problem with their internet which didn't work for a day. However, when we informed the front desk they got someone over to fix it and the system was up the next morning,(and this was during Easter weekend). Management was very apologetic which is all you can ask for when something like this happens. This was also conveniently located 15 minutes from the airport and about the same to downtown Austin, (e.g. 6th Street). All in all, our stay at the Super 8 was better than some of the higher end hotels we've stayed at. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Austin.

This is the best Super 8 in the entire U.S.A. You would never believe it is a Super 8. Everything about the room, lobby, ... decor, bathroom, etc. is much more akin to a luxury hotel. We loved the quiet location, too, although some people might prefer a different location. This property is not located near the trendy area of downtown Austin. No nightclubs are nearby, and the closest restaurant is about 2 miles away. We were perfectly fine with that, though. We stayed in, ate cake, and watched a movie on the flatscreen T.V. Very relaxing.

The Super 8 in Austin was very comfortable and was easy to get to. The hotel staff were very nice during our entire stay ... from check-in to check-out. This is not your average Super 8. We have to go back down to Austin in January and we plan on staying there.
