At the resort we love that we can rest easily on the very comfortable beds that we asked for. it was quiet no one bother you ... and u can just enjoy urself. we used the pool alot, it was nice. we thought that we would be getting breakfast n lunch but we guess it wasnt provided into our suite even though we had one of the biggest suites. while we stayed at the hotel we also did an adventure package deal. it was awesome. everything was perfect! we enjoyed everything!!!!! we would come back for sure to this hotel if we ever decide to visit again.

It rained all day saturday, so when we got back to the room we wanted to sit down and watch a nice movie we had rented. The ... DVD player would not work, when the office was notified they said they would contact the owner and get back to us, they never did. Our room was across from the pool, people stayed in the pool making noise until after midnight, it was hard to go to sleep with people screaming and yelling .

Key West Vacation
dmborkowski Jul 1, 2009
We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 2, 7 & 16) and we needed the 2 bedroom, 2 bath, pull out couch and full kitchen ... to survive for 5 days in Key West. We had a wonderful stay for an amazing price. We had a few minor issues: never enough towels, no remote controls for the televisions, ice machine in the freezer didn't work. Everything else was perfect!

Very nice private condo
benoit Mar 3, 2009
Very nice spacious rooms. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath with living room and kitchen. Kitchen had all plates/forks/pans ... etc. The rooms were clean. The room did not have much of a view, but other than that it was well worth it if you are traveling with another couple. The pool/hot tub area was very nice. We were a short walk to the beach, but had to take a cab to get into downtown KW, which became a little costly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Sunrise Suites was the ideal accomodations for us. We had four family members and found the bedrooms and bathrooms to be ... spacious and very clean. The kitchen had all the necessities in good working order. We loved the pool - warm water, spacious and attractive. We found the fitness center to be lacking in equipment which was our only disappointment.

The sunrise suites was a very relaxing place to stay. Very quiet! The kitchen was nicely equiped and the bed was very ... comfortable. The only thing that I would change is the fact that the housekeeper came a little to early for someone who is there to lounge and in no hurry to go anywhere for the day.

Considering it is Key West
Robert Aug 10, 2008
This 2 bedroom 2 bath condo apartment was a good value for key west considering we had a 17 year old travelling with us and ... needed a second room. You have to remember that other than the very high end Key West hotels, most of them are dated and not top quality. We were supposedly in one of the more recently updated suites.....perhaps it was updated for the millenium? Some fresh linens, furniture, etc are definitely needed.

Wanda Jul 14, 2008
Sunrise Suites was very comfortable. The kitchen was better equipped than I expected with full size appliances and necessary ... items,i.e., toaster, glassware, etc. The bedrooms were very comfortable with fullsize closets, and the bathrooms were larger and nicer than I expected. We were very close to Duval St., Mallory Park, etc., but, just far enough outside to enjoy some peace and quiet. Overall, it was the perfect place for us in Key West. We would definitely return.

Noisey
Roy Apr 15, 2008
The Sunrise Suites Resort was disappointing at best. The units were smaller than we expected. The furniture was old, worn and ... scuffed up. The couch/sofa bed sagged so badly that my 80 year old mother had to be helped up once she sat down. The sink in the second bathroom has a cigarette burn on its edge and one of the vanity lights was out. The screen on the sliding glass door to the balcony was off its hinges. The TV in the living room had limited channels whereas the TV in the second bedroom had twice as many. That TV was a small portable TV which looked like a pea in a boxcar in the bedroom's larger TV cabinete. The Resort overlooks the airport so we constantly heard the airplane traffic from early morning to early evening. I was told at check in that there would be extra towels available at the pool. However, the one afternnoon I went swimming, there were none to be found. And they hadn't run out as the rest of the guests were using their own beach towels. Hence, I had to use my T-shirt as my towel before dripping back to my unit. The most disturbing problem was the noisey quests above us who evidently decided to re-arrange the furniture over our bedrooms the last night of our stay. We did not get a lot of sleep. The dragging sounds started at approximately 11:00pm and persisted off and on until well past 2:00am only to start up again at approximately 5:30am. All the while we could hear voices and laughter coming from their balcony above. I could not believe that they had that much furniture as I laid in bed wishing so much for a little peace and quiet so I could sleep. I also worried that the noise would disturb my Mom (which it did). But since the office closes at 10:00pm, my only recourse was to report the matter in the morning as we checked out.

WILLIAM Apr 5, 2008
I chose this hotel because, I wanted 2 bedrooms as I was traveling with my father. Both rooms had its own bathroom, which ... was a plus. Some of the cooking pans were dirty as well as some of the silverware. We received no clean towels over the 5 days and 4 nights we were there.

Bad management and service
kathleen Mar 27, 2008
From the time we got there we had very bad experiences with the management. There was no one to meet us when we got in, we ... had to go to the office and pull an envelope off the door of the office for our keys, etc. When we checked in the next morning the woman was very unfriendly and we asked for maid service every other day. When two days went by and we did not get our maid service we called the office and they told us the maids had left for the day, this was at noon time and we had to go to the office for towels and she didn't have any so we had to wait for maintenance to bring them up to us. We had to contact maintenance as well to bring us ice because the ice maker didn't work. The office people were very obnoxious and not helpful whatsoever. The maintenance man was the best person in the place and he was very helpful for us.

Spacious rooms
Tammy Mar 8, 2008
The rooms were very spacious. Was not overly impressed with the up keep of the room we stayed in. The phone, doors and ... walls were all damaged by previous occupants. There was still blood splattered on the light fixtures in the bathroon and in several other areas that I presonnally cleaned before we unpacked anything.
