Pleasant, charming and nicely kept

I was traveling on business and chose this hotel because it was a 10-minute walk to my destination. It was even closer to ... Notre Dame Cathedral and the St. Germain shopping/dining area. This room was perfect for my purposes - I didn't spend a lot of time in it because I was either sightseeing or attending my business functions. It was comfortable for one person. If my wife had been with me, it would have felt a bit cramped after a few days. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. I had a beautiful view of Rue des Ecoles from the (narrow) balcony. One other item of note: I was amazed at how tiny the elevator was - I had to turn my suitcase sideways to fit in. There would not have been room for a second person. But that was apparently the case at the other area hotels my business compatriots stayed in, also.
