September in Snowmass
Snowmass Newbie Oct 3, 2009
Our 4-star rating encompasses cost vs value. The location is excellent and the accomodations were nice in a standard kind of ... way. We knowingly traveled off-season at the end of September but did not realize that 90% of the surrounding shops and restaurants would be closed. This left us with very few options for killing time here & there. Alternatively, this created a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere and a sense of having the place to ourselves.

Great Location - Family Friendly
Family of 4 Aug 20, 2009
The staff was very friendly and informative of things to do in the area. We had small children and a rainy day in August so ... the room felt a little small. Snowmass was child friendly so the kids had a great time just walking around and riding the free gondola up and down. The hot breakfast buffet was very good and we had after dinner coffee and desert in the lounge. The staff was wonderful.

Stonebridge Inn
experienced traveler Aug 3, 2009
The Stonebridges Staff was excellent, everyone was knowledgeable on what a person sho see, do and where to eat. I was ... disappointed in the hotel as my expectation was a 4 star hotel. The hotel was very clean but had lower ceilings and no AC. Great place but not a 4 star ranking.

We stayed at the Stonebridge in midsummer and got a good price on the room. The room was spacious and clean with an O.K. but ... not spectacular view. Staff were fairly helpful and friendly. The only complaints we have was that Internet access was not included in the price and the restaurant breakfast buffet was too expensive.

Very affordable hotel
Gary Sep 18, 2008
The value we received for staying at this hotel was exceptional. We not only had a beautiful room but received a ... complimentary breakfast each morning. The staff was very friendly. The only slight drawback was that the hotel was a little hard to find the first time.

Great location
Anna-Maria Mar 16, 2008
Stonebridge Inn is a true ski in ski out hotel at Snowmass. All you need to do in the morning is walk two minutes and then ... ski down to the ski lifts and ticket windows. Skiing back to the hotel from afterski was convenient, too! In addition, you can walk in five minutes to the restaurants in Snowmass Village and the bus to Aspen nightlife stops right in front of the hotel. Stonebridge Inn offers a jacuzzi and sauna, so what else can you hope for a ski hotel. The rooms are very clean, even if a bit outdated but if you are looking for a four star hotel in Aspen area, be prepared to pay a lot more!

Nice inn but......
Jim Aug 13, 2007
It was warm in Snowmass so it was a disappointment that there was no AC. There was a wedding party going on the night we ... checked in and it was quite noisy. We could not close the window because it was too warm with it closed. If the Stonebridge Inn had AC, it would be a perfect place to stay. We will probably visit again but we will request a room well away from the pool and the bar.
