Well, my boyfriend and I were going to the Staind and Creed concert and we decided to spend the weekend to get away. I ... started looking on Orbitz and checked out the hotels that were available. I wasn't sure if the quality was going to be that great considering that I wasn't able to see the hotel or the location first hand so we just took the chance. The price was GREAT! Location was just a few minutes from Harrah's Casino, the Riverwalk, the aquarium, and ALL kinds of shopping and entertainment. Even the arena was within walking distance. It was fantastic. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and VERY comfortable. We had so much trouble getting out of bed in the mornings. When we came back our rooms were clean and the beds were made with fresh towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Very accommodating. There is also an optional parking area that is gated with security in a garage type area, which is a big PLUS. And there was breakfast every morning with a huge assortment of food and beverages. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!!! We will go back so! Srongley recommend.

Great Stay in New Orleans

Great location. The family and I stayed in the hotel prior to our vacation cruse from New Orleans. It was less than 5 minutes ... from the departure station, and we were able to enjoy some of the New Orleans sites before leaving from my trip. The room was very comfortable for 4 to 5 persons, quiet, but the pool and exercise center was small. Great place for a family stay to see downtown New Orleans.

The Springhill Suites by Marriott was very comfortable. The room was larger than most with the living/kitchen area separated ... from the bedroom area. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area. The location was good, only a couple blocks from the convention center.

Beautiful Hotel

The Springhill Suites,New Orleans, was a beautiful suite. I was just there for the night, It was extremly clean, plenty of ... room for at least two. It was very close to the convention center, however i was there late at night and not for a convention. There was little open the time of night that i arrived. I would stay there again, for sure, if the occasion were to arise. Free breakfast was terrific. waffles, eggs, sausage, coffee , juice..
