This was a great hotel. Prices are decent, and the stay over all was excellent. There was a bit of remodeling going on, but ... it was not bad at all. The staff was awesome, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat no doubt about it.

We were on vacation so we didn't spend much time in the room, but the time we spent there was fine. The room smelled of smoke ... and needed to be cleaned a little better but it was quiet and well stocked with towels. The room came with a small coffee pot, microwave, fridge, and hair dryer. The staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was good. The pool is small but who cares we spent most of our time at the beach; which is a mile away. All in all, our stay was well worth the price of the room. We would stay again.

My family enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a short drive to the beach and other recreational activities in the area. ... It is convenient to the Ocean Drive and Cherry Grove area. We will stay here again when in the area.

From bad to disaster

Reserved a non-smoking room and was told none were available at ck in. Fire alarm went off at 4 am. Sprinkler went off on ... fifth floor and flooded south end of the hotel. We were escorted to our room on third floor by a fireman with a flashlight to retrieve our belongings. Our things were wet from water leaking through the ceiling. Told to leave the hotel. No info from the hotel staff, only the fire marshall. Off the property by 5 am. Even without this ending, would not stay here again based on staff. Orbitz customers are second class customers in their view.

It was easy to find, there are a lot of things to do near by, it was clean, we got free continental breakfast that was good ... and I feel it was worth the price we paid.

Sunset beach is only a short drive away and it was very nice and there weren't many people there. We also enjoyed a jetski dolphin watch at Little River which is also close by.

When we requested a new mattress to accommodate my husband's rather large size(the mattress sagged with him in it), the staff ... immediately replaced the mattress. The head of maintenance came over to us while we were having a great breakfast in the dining area. He introduced himself and explained what he would be doing- exchanging the mattress. He was extremely courteous and pleasant.

The Quality Inn in N Myrtle Beach was in a very good location and was definitely affordable! Our room was very nice! I liked ... that we had a microwave, refrigerator , blow dryer and iron in our room. It was close to alot of restaurants and mini golf courses. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend!

There are all kinds of seafood restaurants that were close. But, I would definitely recommend The Giant Crab. It's an all you can eat buffet with crab legs!

We arrived and was somewhat displeased with first appearance. Later in the evening it started raining and water was coming ... in from top of window. We went to lobby to get extra towels telling the staff we had a leak. We kept changing the towels to avoid the carpet getting wet. When we decided to turn in for the night, I noticed hair on the sheets and only one pillowcase (positioned in front) looked like it was changed.
