Great hotel in a special place in KC
Waneta Oct 29, 2009
My friend and I enjoyed our stay in Kansas City, and the Sheraton Hotel made our stay extra special. We felt safe when we ... walked to the area's excellent shops and restaurants. Parking our car was convenient in the underground garage,so we could come and go easily. I enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub each morning. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. I hope to have a return visit here.

Barnes and Noble Bookstore with its four floors was a short walk from the hotel. In the basement level there was a good selection of CDs and DVDs. They have late hours until closing, so it was good to shop later in the day.

Double beds?
pin oak and twiggy Aug 1, 2009
My wife and I went to KC to attend a horse training conference at Hale arena. We booked our trip well in advance. When we ... arrived to our room we were suprised to see 2 double beds as this was not what we had reserved. Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry reserved a rental car. They took the reservation, they just didn't hold the reservation. We spoke with the Hotel and they could not do anything for us since we booked through a 3rd party. We went to see some of the sights and have some ice cream. When we returned we spoke to another hotel employee and she was able to change our room to a King. Trip saved!!!

Love Staying right in the Plaza
Grandma Royal Fan Jun 14, 2009
A little pricey but beautiful suite type rooms but so worth it! Very quiet in the rooms and easy to find. Right on the main ... street of the Plaza in Kansas City! Lots of nightlife, shopping, and fun to just walk in the evening with loads of locals and tourists. Great shops within blocks.

Houston's Restaurant has never let us done. There is a new Argentinean Restaurant that we hope to try next time. The waiters had on goucho's and tall leather boots. Loads of other nearby places to eat or shop.

The Sheraton Country Club Plaza was a bit of a disappointment - we were expecting much more. The rooms are showing age and ... need to be updated with current colors and furniture. The location is fine for the Plaza.

Classy and Close to the Plaza
David Jul 21, 2007
Sheraton Suites is in an ideal location right on Country Club Plaza and close to Westport and the Museums;however, the best ... part was the great staff...easy check-in, simplest check-out and very, very helpful! (One gentlemen bent over backwards to help my friend and me get directions to Stanford and Sons.) The room was immaculate and the bed the most comfortable out of home experience I've experienced (lots of pillows). This is a 5!

Plaza Pleasure
Kimberly May 28, 2007
Sheraton Suites Country Club Plaza had a bedroom with a very comfy king sized bed separated by French doors into a den-like ... room with a very thin mattress fold out sofa you might want to add extra comforter for padding. The French doors are covered with a thin see-through material (not recommended for privacy). The bath/vanity was very small nothing glamorous. The tub had dark marks in it. The price of the breakfast was expensive. Save your money for the Country Club Plaza. MMMMMMMM- Cheesecake. The Cheesecake Factory doesn't serve any battered entrees i.e. waffles, pancakes...etc. except on Sunday's

OK, not great. Better alternatives nearby
Scott Apr 28, 2007
The suite was cramped and the bathroom door wouldn't slide shut. The internet cable never worked. Only decaf coffee ... stocked in room. While we went out for breakfast and prior to our checking out, the maid emptied the 3/4 full bottle of water?an in-room acquisition?that I'd just spent $5 on. Restaurant was slow and very limited.
