Great, Quiet Hotel
S. McD Nov 9, 2009
This is the perfect hotel for a one day layover in Paris. It is very clean and super quiet, even though it is in the middle ... of the CDG Airport! It's directly over the train station. A 20 minute ride takes you diectly into Paris. (about 16 Euros) It's perfect location makes an early morning departure less stressful!

If you need a very small snack you won't find it on the room service menu for under $30 - go out to the terminal and use the vending machines (that was the only thing open at midnight).

Unbeatable location
Mister Melrose Oct 3, 2009
The best thing about this hotel is its location, right in CDG Airport. Walk out of the lobby, and you are essentially inside ... of Terminal 2. Our departure was a breeze, a perfect way to end a vacation. We spent the earlier part of the week in town, but stayed here out last night because we had a morning flight and didn't want to have to deal with a cab or shuttle to the airport in morning traffic. This strategy worked well, especially since they seemed to have a lot of empty rooms and had drastically reduced the price to just over 100 Euros. The rack rate of over 500 Euros, posted in the room, is nothing short of insane. The beds were superb. The room overlooked the runway, which was interesting, and the windows were quadruple glazed, so it was absolutely silent. The building itself is an interesting piece of architecture, a bit like something out of a science fiction set; when combined with all of the little devices in the room to monitor electronically whether you had taken anything from the mini-bar or goody-tray, it was all a bit dehumanizing, like being in one of those prisons where they send very rich people. Lots of opportunities to run up extra charges. 35 Euros for breakfast? Please! You get the impression that if they had been able to attach a meter to your nose and mouth, they would have figured out a way to charge you for every breath you took.

ROOM WITH DROPS OF BLOOD Sep 21, 2009
There were a couple of things that we found disturbing: Upon arrival they gave us the wrong room, but eventually moved us. ... Not that big of a deal, but not very helpful after a lot of traveling. We picked this hotel because we wanted to rest for one day in a really nice hotel in between a hectic travel schedule. The bigger problem was the next room that we were given. Once we started settling in we quickly noticed there were drops of BLOOD on one of the beds...um...DISGUSTING. We called to have the sheets replaced and were kept on hold long enough to hang up and try again. After explaining the situation a SECOND time we were put on hold AGAIN, and no one returned. We had to hang up again. All we wanted them to say was that they were on it and someone would be on their way immediately. After waiting some time, my mother went to the front desk to complain. A manager arrived with someone to replace the sheets at the exact time my mother returned from complaining. They half heartedly tried to say that it was metal- whatever that means. That didn't fool my mother who has worked in the medical field for over 30 years as a lab technician. It was so disgusting and such a poorly handled situation. It wouldn't have been as offensive if we didn't have to go through the motions of just trying to have the sheets replaced. They offered us a free breakfast which we didn't want or need. We were leaving so early in the morning that we didn't have time for it. We weren't in it for a freebie either so it was a little insulting, and we were just so exhausted and done with these people. By the time we were really settled all of the little cafes in the airport were closed and we were left with ordering room service; not delicious and of course, overpriced. The next day they comped our dinner. We aren't interested in trifling free dinners. We were there for a good nights rest, and instead we got BLOOD, a slow response and we were left wondering about the general sanitation of this hotel. To insult our intelligence by saying that the blood was metal! Talk about pouring salt on the wound. I don't think we will be returning or recommending this place or any other Sheraton Hotel.

Came in late and had a very early flight the next day. The location is excellent, the staff was very friendly and it was ... excellent for what it was needed. Was traveling with a bad knee and having access to the hotel from within the CDG airport was perfect! No need to mess with shuttles.

Quiet and Convenient
Johns Travels Aug 9, 2009
Excellent hotel if you just want a quiet place to stay for a night at the airport. My trip had me arrive at the airport at ... midnight and I departed at 10:30am the next morning. This hotel was perfect for what I needed - very convenient - walk out of the hotel and you are in the airport terminal. The only problem was the price but it was worth it to keep my family from having to sit in the terminal chairs for 10 hours.

Fun design, great location
Temporarily Handicaped Jul 27, 2009
Would stay here again. Great location in the airport, double-paned glass made it very quiet, very nice boat inspired design. ... I must mention some details that do not reflect a four star hotel. The toilet seat in the room had not been cleaned, there was some toilet paper under the toilet, and we were given one pair of slippers for a reservation for two people. On checking in(I was using crutches)we asked for a wheelchair for the airport the next morning (no wheelchair was offered for getting to the room), but we were told how to reserve one through the airlines, which we did. The next morning no one arrived with the wheelchair and we were then told the airlines were bad with timing and that we were better off asking for one half an hour before it's needed. By that time we had to start the long, slow, painful walk to the terminal. The concierge and front desk didn't help us in getting this simple request taken care of.

Christina Dec 29, 2008
Our flight arrived an hour late and we were so happy not to have to deal with a taxi or train to get to our hotel. This ... hotel is right in the airport and just a short walk away from the gate. The airport staff were friendly and pointed us in the right direction. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The concierge was very helpful in giving us a map of Paris and showing us train routes to get into the city. Room service was prompt and courteous. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet, there wasn't any outside noise that came in. The escalator to the train station was just in front of the hotel which was very convenient as well. A very good experience all around.

Good Airport Stop Over
Fritz Dec 3, 2007
The hotel is conveniently located at CDG Airport, no need to exit. It is a good location for a stop between flights. If you ... want to go into Paris for the afternoon/evening the Air Ftance Airport bus does this. The room is clean and comfortable and with little airport noise penetration. The staff is efficient and friendly.
