I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS SHERATON, HAVING TRAVELED TO MANY STATES I FOUND THIS TO BE THE WORST SHERATON. THE ROOM ... WAS NOT VERY CLEAN AND IT SMELLED AWFUL, THE ROOM WAS SMALL AND NO MICROWAVE OVEN AVAILABLE EXCEPT TO LEAVE THE ROOM AND GO TO THE LOBBY. I PLANNED TO PROPOSE TO MY GIRLFRIEND THIS WEEKEND BUT COULD NOT BECAUSE SHE WAS ALSO DISAPPOINTED IN THE ROOM FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED INTO THE ROOM. THE COST I THOUGHT WAS GOOD FOR A SHERATON BUT UPON ENTERING THE ROOM I IMMEDIATELY WISHED THAT I HAD OPTED FOR A CHEAPER HOTEL AT LEAST MY EXPECTATIONS WOULD HAVE BEEN MET AS FAR AS "GETTING WHAT YOU PAY FOR". I WILL NOW HAVE TO TRY TO FIND ANOTHER PLACE AND HOPE THAT MY GIRLFRIEND AND I WILL AGAIN SHARE A WEEKEND OFF FROM WORK TOGETHER.

The Sheraton is a nice hotel. I walked along the beach, enjoyed the hot tub, dined out, lounged around, and scoped out the ... area by car. My (40-year old son) was disappointed at the depth of the swimming pool--3 feet. He's an avid swimmer.

Not great for R & R

There were a few issues I had with the hotel and my stay. First of all, the staff did not communicate well about parking or ... amenities. The first room wasn't all that clean (but it was tolerable) but there was so much noise from other guests up until 1:30 in the morning that I asked to be moved to another floor the next day. I was moved to another floor, which was better but that room had some kind of pipe that was making a noise in the bathroom, fortunately it wasn't too loud in the bedroom area. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are very nice. The bartendars were very nice. Maybe it was because there were a few family reunions staying at the hotel but I just felt that there was just a lot of chaos and a lot of people out in the hallways late. As a woman travelling alone, it gave me an unsettled feeling.

Overall it was the best option avail to us on short notice...hotel was clean and friendly and after visiting MB for 2 days ... was the right location for us...MB on the other hand did not find it was our cup of tea so doubt would come back to the area...ocean view type room was a bit of a stretch. Overall satisfied.
