I had a good experience at the hotel. The only problem was that I requested my down pillows to be switched to foam ones ... because I am allergic to feathers. I put in a request at the front desk the second day and the request was never honored.

Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel
Gabrielle, the happy traveler Aug 31, 2009
We had a great time and will certainly stay at the Sheraton again. The service was really good and you can't beat the ... location or the view. The pool is huge and was enjoyed by all. The Eaton's centre is within walking distance from the hotel which made things very easy. The only shortcoming was the number of kids that used the computers (at the only internet workstation) for extensive lengths of time. We needed only 5 minutes to check work-related issues and we had to wait for the kids to stop playing games or to stop their 'facebook' communications. Their time should be limited or should be provided in intervals to allow for adult necessities/requirements. Another idea would be for the hotel to provide wireless throughout the hotel in order to accommodate all guests....

While we had to upgrade from a standard double to a king room ($60) that gave us club level privileges -- happy hour ... appetizers and a breakfast buffet that also provided us with a nice lunch for the train. Great room -- super view, excellent bed, spotless and quiet. Location was a plus. Shopping, train and Hockey Hall of Fame all in walking distance.

"Lots To Do"
Conference Queen Aug 15, 2009
First night was not pleasant, reservation mix up one bed instead of two. My room mate had to sleep on a cot. First room was ... nicer but we had two beds in the second room. Otherwise everything else with the hotel was nice. The food was great but a little pricey. I blame the room mix-up on orbitz. I was told the night before I arrived by an orbitz customer service person that room mix-up would be straighten out when I arrive at the hotel. They did not tell me it would be a day later. Also Orbitz did not honor its price assurance guarantee and I did not receive my phone card that I paid for.

Bad Room Location
Boricua-In-Toronto Aug 4, 2009
The Sheraton is in a great location and the hotel lobby is very nice. My room was very clean, but my location was horrible. ... I had to walk through all of the meeting room areas and half way around the hotel. If they try to give you the 3rd floor decline it. I've noticed that when I book through Orbitz or other third parties I always end up with bad rooms.
