Great friendly service. Room service staff a bit pesky about getting trays back. I know it's their job, but I don't think ... they should call to remind you to return tray or to ask how the food is.

Overnight stay attending event. Hotel convenient to First Mariner Arena across the street. Staff was pleasant at check in. ... The room was average yet comfortably arranged. Impressed with the large size of the bathroom yet the tub was proportionately small for someone wishing to take a relaxing bath. Overall enjoyed my quick stay.

The room was fine and bed slept good but the expensive wireless internet really was a downer. Able to walk to the convention ... center easily during the day but maybe a little to risky after dark. Didn't rent a car either--sure glad because the $36/day parking would have been a serious hit too.

Close to the inner harbor area--a longer walk but worth it to have a lot of places to eat.

Good hotel
physician on business trip Oct 5, 2009
I was in Baltimore for a business trip. The location was very convenient because it was walking distance from the University ... of Maryland Medical Center where my conference was held. I used their gym every day, and the gym equipment was fantastic. This was the best part of the trip. The hotel room itself was good - clean, nice bed, flat screen TV, desk where I could work on my laptop. My window view included the baseball stadium and I could see the game at night. The hotel itself is in a good location. It is about 6 blocks from UMMC. UMMC is in a sketchy neighborhood, so just be cautious as you get closer to the medical campus.

Bad Location Sep 20, 2009
Bad part of town can not be expressed more without being vulgar. DO NOT walk around this hotel at night and NEVER be by ... yourself. Being able to walk around the city was able to say that I would not stay here again and there are much safer places to be. The low cost has to be associate with location.

A Couples night out
Lil One Sep 16, 2009
The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The front desk service was pleasant and helpful. If you need directions or ideas on ... what to do they are well informed with pamphlets and directions off the web. The room we originally got was very dirty, from window sill, bed sheets and showers. The double bed rooms are the only rooms with bath tubs the rest only have showers. We quickly called the front desk and complained about the rooms lack of cleaning. They quickly sent someone up with keys to a new room. Our second room was larger and better in everyway. It was a corner room so we had a great view of the city and the Oriels stadium. The room and hotel was decorated very stylish with both old and modern accents. We had a walk to the Harbor during sunset. Then called the hotels cab service to go to dinner. Took a walk to the Power Plant next to the Harbor and had our night out. Next morning took a dip in their great roof top pool. The roof top has a great sitting area, pool and view. Our check out was quick and hassle free. Same as checking out our car from their underground lot. We had to get guided out by one of the valley workers to find our way out. Just drove to the Harbor one last time. The end to out night out with out the kids.

Great Location, friendly staff
Mike B. Sep 8, 2009
The location in the heart of downtown Baltimore couldn't be better. The only real downside was the housekeeping staff. My ... room was usually not seen to until after 4pm, and one day it was skipped entirely. I highly recommend this hotel for its location and quality, but be aware you may have to make some noise at the front desk so you get your bed made and fresh towels in the bathroom.

It's a short walk from here to the inner harbor, which has shops and restaurants. But my advice board the water taxi and make for Fell's Point. This is the place for food, music and a good night out.

Good location, great price
Becky Aug 30, 2009
The hotel was very nice. Nicely decorated lobby. Nice big outside pool area. The room was a comfortable size and while the ... bathroom was not completely modern, it was all in good condition and working order, and gave the room charm. All the staff we met were very friendly, greeting us as we came and went. The location was nice, it was only a few blocks to the convention center and short walk to Inner Harbor. I would recommend not opting for the hotel's (expensive) parking or valet service, and instead parking in the self-park garage with the entrance DIRECTLY across from the hotel entrance. It was only $18 to park there 24 hours. And that's probably where the hotel parks your car anyways. It would have been nice to have breakfast included, or at least a discount on the breakfast served in the attached resturant. Overall a good value.

Skip the hotel's expensive parking options and park in the garage across the street.

Traveler Aug 14, 2009
The staff was EXTREMELY nice and accomodating. I had to be switched rooms because the King Size bed room did not offer a ... tub. The rooms however, were not very clean. The windows were smudged with fingerprints from prior guests, there was dust balls in corners that were not vacuumed and the hallways were not vacuumed and the building was just very old and smelled of such. I don't think I will stay there ever again. Also, know that you will have to pay $27.00 per night for parking.
