The Shops at the Pier at Cesars Palace, very nice restaurant selection without going into a casino. You have a choice of 7 different restaurants.

You will need to walk for shopping and dining; the boardwalk is 3 blocks away and you can make a day of that alone. There are a number of "free" things to do if you care to look for them and ask around.

Great Weekend Getaway
Lou Lou 82 Oct 6, 2009
I had stayed at the Sheraton last year with some friends for a Girls Getaway and thought the hotel was great. Very clean and ... the rooms were luxurious in my opinion. So when my boyfriend and I decided to go to AC for a long weekend, the Sheraton was the first place I thought to stay. Its a beautiful hotel and the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and offer great views of the city and surrounding area. I was very pleased with our accomodations and would recommend the Sheraton to anyone going to AC. From the moment we arrived we experienced great customer service from their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Once we settled into our room we were able to relax and really enjoy our time together. When we weren't in our room, we weren't far from something to do. Only 4 or 5 blocks from the boardwalk, but right across the street from the outlets and several places to dine. My boyfriend is very particular about places that he will stay when he travels - and he was impressed and pleased with the Sheraton. We will definitely be back for another stay... hopefully sooner than later!

Excellent Hotel
Iron Sep 8, 2009
We were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary. The staff was very friendly. We arrived a bit early and were able to ... accomodate our "view" request. The check in staff did an excellent job of handling a rude couple. The valet was prompt to aid us when we forgot something in our car. This hotel and staff exceeded our expectations.

So So Place to Stay
ilovehotels Aug 31, 2009
The location of the hotel was fine. It allowed us to stay away from the "bright lights" of the Boardwalk, and take a few ... lively strolls around The Walk (the outlets), and then to the Boardwalk to be a part of the "action." Also, the Jitney - which will take you to all the casinos - stops right across from the hotel. On the other hand, the place was simply noisy. Initially, I was annoyed by the crying of the baby a few rooms down, but once I got past that, (hey, babies cry, and sometimes there's nothing the parents can do about it), there was the constant slamming of doors, loud voices throughout the hallways, flushing of toilets, other plumbing issues coming from the rooms upstairs, and other unrecognizable noises. I'm not very sensitive, but my annoyance was heightened by the fact that the hotel is supposed to have a period of Quiet Hours. As well, I hadn't expected that the hotel was pet-friendly, but I saw more dogs than I could count. I'm allergic to dogs, and luckily I wasn't around any long enough to feel the effects, but I didn't think I would have to inquire as to whether dogs would be staying in the facility.

my friend and i had a great time staying at the sheraton. the hotel was really nice and well kept. i love the scent when you ... first walk into the hotel, it smells absolutely delightful. check in was really fast and check out was even faster, drop the room key in the key drop box. we were located on the 10th floor and we had a gorgeous view of all the casinos. the room was nice and clean. the beds were so comfortable, feels like your are sleeping on clouds. we also loved the flat screen tv. i would say the only negative part of the hotel was that they didnt have an outdoor pool. the shopping outlets are right around the corner with many great stores. it took us about 10 mins to get to the boardwalk. overall, we had a wonderful time staying at the sheraton.

WOW, why didn't we discover this hotel? We have been staying on the strip with hotels pretty close to this price. GO! It is ... SOOOO nice, people were wonderful, thanks Marina at the front desk for all your assistance. We love Brigantine's beaches and its about 5 minutes away! We had dinners all around and had an exceptional time. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable! Thanks Orbitz, we had a blast.

Atlantic City Without the Casino Hotel
eyesroll Jul 3, 2009
The hotel was very comfortable, and had some interesting facts related to the Miss America Pageant. Shopping, some gambling, ... sightseeing, like Lucy the Elephant and the Lighthouse. An outdoor pool would have been nice. Compares similiar to most other Sheratons I have stayed at.

This hotel is in a GREAT location. It is close to the Casinos and the main shopping strip The Walk. Our stay was very nice ... during the day, but at night it was very noisy in the wallways. Alot to do with the guest not the hotel itself.

Nice Hotel
Todd Jan 4, 2009
This is a very nice hotel for the money. My only complaint is the pool is pretty small for this size hotel. (LARGE hotel) ... Room and hotel in general are very clean. You are less then a 10 minute walk from the casinos and boardwalk. The Atlantic City Walk shopping outlets are right outside the hotel. Parked my car in the parking garage when i arrived and didnt get back in it until we left. Everything is walking distance or you can take the Jitney Bus which runs 24hrs a day and takes you about anthwere for $2.50. I would stay here again.

Not what I expected..
Joanne Jan 3, 2009
Upon arriving at the hotel you must park acoss the street at the Convention Center and walk to the hotel. This was a long ... walk with luggage through the cold. We had to go through the building, outside, across the street to the Sheraton. Check-in was fine and quick considering it was New Year's Eve. The first room I stayed in had 2 full beds. I called to see if they had a queen available but they did not and said I could change rooms the next day. The bathroom was okay but the toilet was so loud when flushed and you could hear when the people upstairs were flushing as well. This was annoying and loud in the middle of the night. The bed was comfortable and the room was large. They room is provided with a small coffee maker that is very convenient to make tea and coffee directly into cups that are given. The walls of the room are very thin. You can hear the slamming doors of other guests. We did not sleep due to the screaming that could be heard next door that then carried into the hallway where I had to intervene at 2am. Security came and handled the situation. In relation to dining, I did not get an opportunity to indulge in breakfast, chose not to eat at the hotel's restaurants and never ordered room service. I did order from a nearby pizzeria which was good. I switched rooms the next day into a queen size bed. This was okay as well, but had the same issues with the noise and toilet. Added bonus was the alarm that went off in the building during the middle of the night with a siren and a voice stating that it was safe to re-enter the building. This was a bit scary but the next day when I brought up the fact that I lost sleep (again) they said it was because the temperature in the building dropped below a certain point. Besides that the Sheraton was in a great location because it was next to the outlet of Atlantic City. There were plenty of places to eat around the hotel.

Problems fixed, a good time was had
Amanda Sep 27, 2008
We had a few problems when we initially checked in - our room configuration wasn't what we had requested, but it was fixed ... with one call to the front desk and we were in the right room in minutes. The city view was great. The Sheraton is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the stores and the casinos, but don't want to be smack in the middle of everything.

Great location but old glory
Babajide Aug 7, 2008
We choose this hotel because of the name and what we were accustomed to around the world. the name Sheraton was synonymous ... with Quality and style. But we were really disappointed and actually i went with my In-laws so i was embarrassed. Point for point - The phone would not work - The room had a king of damp smell - The lights in one of the rooms would not work - It took two days to fix the lights that would not work. - the swimming pool was too small for a hotel of this size and off course over crowded. The location was however excellent for shopping and easy reach to the broadwalk.
