The Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa, in Sedona, Arizona, features world-class accommodations and amenities perfectly matched to the magnificent scenery of what USA Today Weekend Magazine called "the most beautiful place in America". Unique among Sedona's luxury hotels, Sedona Rouge uses Spanish Mediterranean architectural elements to create a sense of serenity and sophistication for the discriminating traveler. Colorful Oriental threads of the North African Moors and the delicate, decorative Gothic lacework of France add to the visual feast. Lavish gardens and courtyards, carved stone columns, and cascading water elements weave together the hotel's guest room accommodations, spa, restaurant, lounge and event venues. Shadow and light play against one another, echoing the dramatic contrasts created by the area's soaring red rock outcroppings and shaded green canyons. This is a smoke-free property.

Quiet Luxury

We really enjoyed our stay. The Sedona Rouge was close enough that we could get to everything quickly, but far enough away ... to avoid the traffic. The beds were really comfortable and it was really quiet.

Very nice accomodations - quite, clean and comfortable. The rooms are uniquely-decorated and seem new. The hotel staff is ... professional and attentive without being overbearing. Sedona Rogue is in a great location also.

The Pink Jeep tour is a must for the first-time Sedona traveleler. It allows you to see Sedona as it should be seen - up close and personal.

Very Comfortable
Vladimira Dec 24, 2008
The hotel was very elegant and comfortable. The room was very nice and furnishings were new and modern with some interesting ... exotic pieces, a nice contract to the furnishings. The bed was very plush and comfortable. I loved the bedding, pillows and duvet. BTW: All for sale. The bathroom was huge and I absolutely loved the little spa accessories and bathrobe. We were visiting in December, so we couldn?t enjoy the pool, but the pool area was very nice. I love the public area with an adobe style fireplace on the hotel roof. We didn?t eat at the restaurant. I would make us go to the restaurant and try the food. I think that the restaurant would be more successful if hotel guests had a reason to visit it. We also used the complimentary steam room at the hotel spa. That was very nice after a day of hiking in Dec. I had some questions about the area for the concierge who was busy with other guests. So the front desk helped me with directions, one of the employees show me his favorite hikes and called to reserve a space on a tour. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Ask for a room on the second or third floor.

Great couple get-a-way
Daniel Sep 28, 2008
We were not disappointed -- the rooms were very luxurious, the service was great, the location was perfect. Picture lounging ... in the hot tub under the stars or lounging around one of the two outdoor fireplaces or waking up to a view of the red rocks of Sedona -- perfect. We would definately stay there again.

Great getaway
Deborah Sep 18, 2008
The Sedona Rouge Hotel was most comfortable with very fine beds and quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The pool area was ... beautiful with lush greenery and the pool and hot tub were sparkling clean. The many beautiful fountains spread around the grounds and public areas were a nice surprise. The dual head rain type shower was fun, although a bathtub would have been nice, too.

A wonderfuly get-a-way from city life
Loretta Aug 4, 2008
The Rogue Sadona was a very inviting place to relax and enjoy peace & quite as well as great service. The rooms were elegant ... and truly fit for a queen. Service was outstanding and all of Sedona's locals as well as staff at the Hotel were so friendly and personable. This was the best Birthday gift for my Daughter, who turned 38. She enjoyed the fact that there was so much to do, & so little time. We went sight seeing and we had time for a massage and pampering. We dined at various places and every resteurants were very unique. What a great place to visit.

If you can try the spa as soon as you get there, is a great treat to start you vacation properly. Walking distance to a Breakfact diner, where they have any kind of breakfast to suit your early morning cravings. On the other side of the street is a wonderful Pizza & Salad treat that will keep you going back for more...

great room, friendly staff
Steven Jun 11, 2008
The Sedona Rouge was a wonderful retreat! The room was very nice; extremely clean and the bedding was awesome. Although we ... did not use the fireplace much, it was a nice addition to the room as well as the flat screen tv. Our little porch was just that....little but still big enough to see the mountains in the distance. The observation deck was a little disappointing since it sits eyelevel with the grocery store across the street. It was hard to get a great view of the sunset but it was very peaceful and quiet in the evening. There were not many options on site for dining, actually only one but there are several within walking distance (The Coffee Pot was one of our favorites as well as Picasso Pizza). The main street into Uptown Sedona was only a 3 minute drive and once you parked everything was easily within walking distance. Also have to comment on the staff; they were fabulous from the moment we checked in. The concierge, was awesome and helped us book amazing tours at the last minute. Overall, great place to stay; my family & I loved it!

relaxing
Peter Apr 4, 2008
The bed was fabulously comfortable. The room was lovely. I enjoyed a massage, followed by a steam sauna, and a morning dip in ... the outdoor jacuzzi in the private ladies area of the spa. It was relaxing to be able to enjoy the spa so close to my room that I was able to walk over in the soft robe I that I found in the closet. I then spent the afternoon lounging by the pool. My ground floor room had sliding glass doors that opened into a private porch area, with a locked gate coded to my room key that opened into the pool area. I also enjoyed room service from Red's. The honey chipotle glazed shrimp is to die for.

Cute boutique hotel
Heather Jul 26, 2007
We really enjoyed our stay. It is a great place to stay if you want to get away from the big resort type setting. My only ... complaint is that I brought my dogs, 3 small, they charge $50 per dog. I was told I would only be charged $50 for the pet fee when I checked in and when I was checking out $150 was charged to my credit card.
