The Panafric is bleak at best...

The check in process was excruciatingly slow...and after the long wait we get to our room which was like a bleak motel room - ... from the 70s. The room was also very noisy - we could hear every noise from outside as well as from other rooms.

I only stayed overnight while waiting for a flight the day after I arrived. The only 'complaint' I had was the lack of a ... bottle opener by a mini-bar stocked with bottles that needed an opener...

The thing that strikes you most about Sarova Panafric is the very helpful and courteous staff. The internet service is a bit ... slow. Room was thoroughly cleaned each day. Overall a good experience.

Walking from the hotel to the downtown is perfectly safe during the day. The two city parks are lovely on the way. The one on the right is less safe, as you may find many street children, in the evening hours.

Great double room for couples

My husband & I really enjoyed the hotel. The double superior room was nicely remodled & the shower was wonderful. The hotel ... and staff were very good & helpful. HOwever, a friend of ours stayed in a single room & her room was not rearly as nice.
