Best honeymoon spot

We had the basic tropical delux room. I have never read a review with someone having that room, so we were not sure what to ... expect. It was spaceous, nicely decorated, and clean. Some things you may not realize since I didn't see it on cheap tickets are: Round trip transportation to and from the airport is included with your Sandals booking! Don't book transportation seperately. Just find the Sandals desk after landing. Also, all watersport activity--with the exeception of jet-ski and para-sailing--is included. Kayaking, Glass bottom boat ride, water trike, wind surfing, snorkeling, etc. is included.

I didn't see any lobster on the dinner menu at Sandals, and there were a few other Jamaican cuisine missing like brown stew fish. Take a 5 minute ride over to Cosmos to taste what you are missing.

Great place to relax
The Turtle and the Rabbit Sep 7, 2009
We enjoyed the beautiful beach along with the water activities included: the white sand, boat sailing, skiing, even ... aquacycling. Service was excellent, staff were courteous, they went beyond their comfort zone to keep you happy. We stayed in the more economical rooms, but noticed a big difference in quality compared with the higher priced. Cleanliness was a plus, but noise was something to consider next time.FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, plus eating by the sea was something beyond expectations!!!!

This was the best beach vacation that my wife and I have taken in a while. The staff were fantastic, friendly and ... professional. My wife and I wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach and that's just what we did. The food at Sandals Negril is excellent and our room was great. We enjoyed the turn down service - what a plus! The room fridge was kept stocked with cold beverages and the houskeeping staff were wonderful. The variety of food was incredible! There were so many restaurants and so many food and beverage choices we were extremely satisfied our entire stay. The transportation from the airport to the hotel and back again was excellent, safe and courteous drivers were provided to us. The staff at this hotel are beyond excellent. They understand what hospitality really means, and we have stayed at many hotels so we know the difference. The hotel is beautifully landscaped and decorated. The beach peddlers were contained by the security and never became a problem for us. Everyone at this hotel was fantastic. We just can't say enough about how wonderful our vacation was at Sandals Negril, Jamaica and we have told all of our family and friends about it!

While all of the restaurants are great we recommend the Kimonos because the chefs are highly entertaining and the food is superb! Also, be prepared for at least a 90 minute drive from the airport to the hotel, but Sandals, Negril is worth the trip!
