travel a lot Sep 27, 2009
We needed a place to stay for the night that was close to the airport. The hotel amenities, other then the food, were good ... but the cab driver taking us from the hotel to the airport over charged us. The driver never started the meter, made up an amount, $30 for a 7 minute ride, and then became arguementative. Perhaps the hotel should screen cab drivers prior to opening the cab door and assisting with the ride. All in all, it made for a bad experience.

4 star hotel!?!
Deb Sep 19, 2009
The worst part was the short beds. I am only 5'3 and my feet hung off of the end of the bed. I felt terrible for my 5'9" son. ... One morning at about 9am we had asked the housekeeper for more towels. We never got them! The pool area was nice as was the view. It was nice having a mall across the street. I have to say that everyone that we dealt with there were so nice. Even the maid who didn't get us towels was friendly. We did have good time but wished we would have stayed elsewhere.

For a hotel that tries to be classy, this one doesn't make it. We told the staff about our problems, i.e. shower drain, ... doorknob, lack of blanket and the only item resolved was a blanket. We didn't notice that there was only one coffee cup in our room with a king size bed until out last morning there. When I mentioned it upon checkout there was very little response. We will never stay there again.

Save your money - don't take a cab to and from the Airport. The subway system only costs $2 pp and will get you close to this hotel. I think it would even be faster than driving through the crazy traffic.
--First Trip to Boston, Orangeville, Ontario Aug 26, 2009
The complimentary shuttle van saved us beaucoup bucks and we even learned a few fun facts about the city from the drivers.
--Travel Agent Wannabe, Farmington Hills, MI Aug 25, 2009
T stops are just down the street. Don't take cabs.. buy a Charlie Card and take the T.
--Manners Please!, Deep South Aug 24, 2009
Dont rent a car if you plan on staying in the Boston area. Parking at the Hotel cost $27.00 a day and parking in town is almost impossible. Use the train and bus system if you want to get around town.
--Anthony Carabbio, Lewisville Texas Aug 23, 2009
We took alot of cabs probably spent $250 in 4 days we could have saved more taking public transportation but also found out if you just walk around a bit you can cover alot of ground with relative ease.

Cambridgeside Galleria. Do most of your shopping at the mall right across the hotel. Much better prices and selection than the stores downtown.

Cab to the north end, amazing dining. The hotel has Dante and a great bar, Shopping is as nice as Chicago. We could cab it for less than $10.00 or take the trolly.

--Josie, Vancouver, WA Aug 5, 2009
Even though hotel across riverm everything was a 10 - 15 minutes walk, and that helped ward off the extra weight we put on from all of the fantasic meals......those who do not want to do the walk, subway ( fab T-line) 5 minutes away!
--Big J, Hamilton Ontario Jul 31, 2009
Definitely recommend the Duck Tour! Leaves from the Science Museum, right around the corner.
--Mom of 2 girls, NY Jul 30, 2009
Don't take the bus tour the Hotel sells tickets to. It doesn't drop you off a Hotel. The double decker bus tour infront of the Mall (right out front of hotel) is better because it drops you off in front of hotel.
--Red Sox Tom, Florida Jul 27, 2009
