Good Rooms, however there were some faults if you looked for them. (Shower head loose, scuffs here and there) Overall though, ... I found the Riviera excellent value for money, with a great package deal through [...]. It is a little removed from the main part of the strip, however if you don't want to walk for 5-10 minutes, just take the Duece Bus right out front. My room (811 in the North Tower) was very noisy when it got windy, there seemed to be something loose blowing around in the ceiling, didn't bother me much, but could be an issue for light sleepers. Otherwise, staff were nice enough, Coffee shop in particular was good, drink service quick and gambling pretty OK. Would recommend as great value for money, and I look forward to staying at the Riviera again.

Package deals were great value (airfares and 5 night accommodation through [...]) The Riviera obliged with a late checkout on request for only a nominal fee, (Really useful as I had 20 hours travelling time back to Australia after my stay, and it enabled me to sleep and shower, then hit the road.)

I stayed at the Riviera because that's where my conference was held. But I was very disappointed. There was no coffee maker ... in my room and upon requesting such, was told it would cost $50 per DAY! Also there was a 10$ per day charge for wireless internet. PLEASE. I'd always heard that casino food was cheap. Sure if you consider a 4$ cup of coffee cheap. Considering the amount of money my association dropped on the Riviera, this hotel was not what I expected.

Located at the end of the strip, First rooms we got the beds were great, new and comfortable but near the elevator, so it was ... very noisy. We requested room change the said we have to up-grade. The next day i talked to a manager and we got the rooms changed to a better location but old, hard uncomfortable mattresses. Smoking every where, and the buffet was not the best.

i've been to vegas many times before so i've stayed at varies hotels..this time was the first i was not that happy with. ... first thing when we got there the elevators wasn't working so we had to take the stairs to our room. then the light out side our door was flashing on & off it took 2 days to get it fixed. the worst for me was that the heating system in the hotel wasn't working. the thermostat was flashing buttons all over the place and the room was cold the whole trip. besides that it was great. guess that what i get for getting a cheapy hotel.

While I was checking in, the lady at the front desk didn't have great customer service. However, overall, the hotel was very ... satisfying. The room was clean and very nice. However, checking out was quite easy since there were the machines to make checking out convenient.

The Riviera was a great place for us. The price was exceptional, the entertainment wonderful, the food superb and the ... location on the strip enabled us to go anywhere by boarding the bus right in front. Shopping nearby and only one block from the Guardian Angel Cathedral. Staff was friendly and eager to help with information, directions and even local tips.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice 4 day getaway at the Riveria...hotel room was quiet, clean, large and modern! Got exactly ... what we ordered, king size non-smoking. No trouble checking in, checking bags prior to checkin time. Some hotel staff was unfriendly. Restaurant, casino, gift shop staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful pool area. Location was nice. Andrew Dice Clay was a great show.

Decent hotel by normal standards, but this is Vegas! I paid for a 'Premier Tower' upgrade fee, and could not discern any ... differences between our room and several of our other friends' rooms. When we asked what the differentiated the rooms one concierge, she said the room was recently renovated, another said "It is not something you are going to notice". Aside from that there is the $3.92/day "Energy Surcharge" that they tell you about when you get there. I never understand this practice, why can't you just add that to the room rate?

I really enojyed staying at this hotel because the rooms were nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel served good food ... and had conveinent stores located in the lobby. The set up was easy to manuvuer anf find what you were looking for. The staff was approachable and answered all questions in a friendly manner. The check in and out was quick and efficient and very simple to figure out. The options available were satisfying and helped make the stay better. The only negative was the located on the strip, being so far away from the main area, yet that allowed more quietness in the hallways which I appreciated.

The room was very clean and recently updated. The room itself was decent in size, the bed was super comfortable but the ... bathroom was a bit small. The only downfall was being quite a distant from the main strip hotels (Bellagio, Caesar's, etc) - definitely had to walk a bit.
