Our stay at the hotel was a nice experience. We were upgraded to a river view room. Rooms are large and very clean. There ... is no need to leave the area. Many restaurants, nice view, nice shopping, lots of activity. The front desk staff and the valet was extremely helpful and nice.

We were treated to a pleasant welcome and provided with an upgrade to a suite which made the already competitive Orbitz price ... a real bargain. The hotel was in a great location for exploring Portland, the staff were universally friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has some nice touches such as cold drinks in reception and turn down with chocolates. We did not eat in the hotel.

If the weather is nice, do the riverwalk, it gives some great views of the city, provides intersting info about the history and development of Portland (around 3 miles altogether).

Great view of the river and harbor. Perfect location for walking along the river and walking to restaurants. Friendly ... staff. It was our best experience in downtown Portland. We will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel and location. No pool, reservations were accepted for jacuzzi/ sauna but were booked for the evening. No iron in ... the room or closet space, no terry cloth bath robes that were said to have. Expensive valet parking should of been included in your stay for the price. Just too expensive for what you got. Had more amenities in other hotels for lesser price and just as nice of rooms. I also noticed for a saturday evening that all the lounges were closed at 11:00 pm around the hotel surroundings. Pretty disapointing

The RiverPlace was an excellent hotel choice for us! We had a beautiful room in a great Portland location. The restaurant, ... Three Degrees, was so outstanding that we ate all of our meals there! The short walk to downtown area was great, as well as, access to Portland's free transportation system. The RiverPlace overlooks a harbor on the river with a lovely boardwalk. We would go back to stay there again!
