not horrible but won't stay again

very easy to find and the location was great, close to forest park and the hill; science center, the zoo, museums etc. this ... was definately the cheapest place to stay in the area but i think next time i would spend the extra money. the staff was very friendly but the bed was soooo uncomfortable neither of us could sleep. The room smelled like they had just sprayed lysol everywhere but there was a hair in the bathtub. there was evidently some construction going on on the road leading up to the hotel so that was annoying but not their fault. there were no real amenities but i knew that when i got the hotel and that's probably why its so much cheaper than some of the others.

Great location...on the edge of "the Hill" and quick, easy access to I-44. Just minutes from downtown. The room was clean, ... and the staff was friendly and courteous. Great deal if you just need a room and shower. If you want amenities (pool, etc), look elsewhere!

I make a yearly trip to the Hill just to buy the sausage there in bulk...take it home and freeze it...bellisimo!!!!! They have a little restaurant next door too...great house dressing!!!

Great variety of authentic Italian restaurants and shops in the area. Try Urzi's Italian Market....the best little deli in Saint Louis!!! I make a yearly trip to the Hill just to buy the sausage there in bulk...take it home and freeze it...bellisimo!!!!! They have a little restaurant next door too...great house dressing!!!

very easy to find and the location was great, close to forest park and the hill; science center, the zoo, museums etc. this ... was definately the cheapest place to stay in the area but i think next time i would spend the extra money. the staff was very friendly but the bed was soooo uncomfortable neither of us could sleep.
