The inn was clean, comfortable, sensisible. There are few frills so if you are one who needs an iron, blow dryer or fancy ... decor this is not the place for you. A coffee machine with various flavors is available 24 hours. The pool is a nice size and at least partly in the shade of the building mornings and late day. Nice to sit and read or relax on the pool deck. I found these accomodations were not too much, not too little - just right for my needs.

The Red Roof Inn in Chandler, AZ was a good hotel for a quick stay. Nothing fancy here. I was only here for one night so I ... didn't require a lot of amenities, but had I been here for a few nights I would have rather had something maybe a little nicer. There were a few resturant choices around this place and it was very conveniently located off the interstate. There was no iron and I do wish there had been one in the room.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful day and night. The (heated!) pool was clean and well-maintained with an ... enjoyable deck area to sit in the Arizona climate. The location was close to the highway without traffic noise. The room was simple but comfortable - exactly what I needed.

1 restaurant and 2 fast food places (including a 24 hour burger place) are within easy walking distance. Also in walking distance is a gas station with a mini-mart for snacks, cold drinks, even beer & wine. Within 2 miles are at least a dozen places to eat.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay and are willing to sacrifice on the amenities, then you have found the ... place. Easy to get to from I-10. My major complaint is that the hallways smelled musty, although this was not a problem in the actual rooms.
