Every morning at 8:00 the housekeeper came banging (and I do mean BANGING) on the door announcing "housekeeping". When I ... answered the door she would say "I come back later. I come clean later". This happened every single day of my stay. Once I was still asleep after spending a long night at the hospital with my son and it was not appreciated one bit. I originally booked for 2 nights but when my son still wasn't released from the hospital I booked an additional 3 nights. When the banging started I answered the door and she said "you leave today?" I told her I was staying longer and she said "you pay the money?" I told her I had booked 3 more days and she actually came into my room, picked up the phone and called the front desk to make sure I wasn't lying to her. For all the housekeeping issues, you would think the place would be immaculate, but it was quite grubby. The carpet had built up areas of dirt and dust all around the edges--it was obvious the vacuum was run only in the center of the room. The exterior was very unkept-looking as well. One the day I left the same trash (cups, wrappers, bottles) was laying on the ground and walkway as when I checked in.

Although they don't deliver, Maria's Pizza on Taylor Avenue is well worth the 2-1/2 mile drive (East on Joppa Road to right on Perring Parkway, then right on Taylor Avenue). The pizza is decent, but their cheeseburger subs with everything is to DIE FOR!

The location of the hotel was good as it was near the major roadway to the city. However, the room had a musty smell and the ... linens were worn and stained. The room as well as the bathroom itself could use a major overhaul. The windows did not do an adequate job in lessening the noise level from the outside. The parking lot needed more lights as the area is dark and quite open.

We asked for a good steak restaurant and were directed to a pub that didn't have steak. We accidentally stumbled on The Original Steakhouse, which is about the best steak we've ever had. It's 3615 E. Joppa Road in Baltimore, which was 10 minutes from the hotel.

visited Towson University. Rooms were old and worn out. If you are going to offer a Continental Breakfast, make it one ... someone would eat or don't offer it at all. The selection was awful and nothing was good at all. Worst complimentary breakfast I have ever had.

Green Acres Aug 3, 2009
Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and in a good location. The grade 60 sandpaper they used for towels wasn't the best. The ... continental breakfast consisted of old bagels, bad coffee served with donuts and pastries in packages, guarded by an extremely rude woman who's job it is to hassle about your meal ticket.

I believe I got a pretty good deal for the price. The Ramada is very easy to locate (right off 695), the registration staff ... was friendly and knowledgable (thanks [...]!), and the room was clean. It could use some updating though. Great location with the mall right up the road, too! The fitness room is small but has a treadmill, ski machine, bike, and gym. The pool looked great but it rained every day I had a chance to use it :( Would recommend

Not up to Ramada's reputation
Beagle lover Jun 20, 2009
End unit was right by highway extremely noisy.. bad stains on carpet... lots of cigarette buts up and down stairs had to move ... room because of the noise .. 2nd room was better.. Free continental breakfast area was dark and dingy claimed they were renovating. Staff was friendly and accomodating to change my room. 2nd room was much nicer and cleaner.. For a non smoker having office next to sports bar where they serve breakfast and lots of cigarette butts everywhere not conducive for a non smoker.

The hotel could use a facelift, needs more comfortable beds, worn carpet, the dining room and lobby smelled unpleasant. One ... could hear other people through the walls Friday and Saturday nights. It was quiet once our neighbors checked out Sunday. The staff were very pleasant.

OK But............
joe Feb 29, 2008
Upon Arrival I was asked for a photo ID, which I complied. A short time after I checked out I realized that I had left ... something in the room. The person that checked me out was not there but another desk person cheerfully made me a new key to check out the room for the left behind item. I found the item and returned the key to the front desk. Whats wrong with this? Even though there was a photo ID of me on file the desk person did not ask for an ID before giving out the new key. I could have been off the street and picked a room # at random or have stalked the room the night before for a single woman or eldery person to do harm to. Why ask for a photo ID if you are not going to use it. Also the breakfast was one of the worst ever, but there is a diner across the street.

Not a good place to stay!
Danette Jul 22, 2007
This was my first and last stay at any Ramada, I have never been so unsatisfied with any hotel and I have stayed in hotels ... all over the US and the rest of the world. The hotel it self was the dirtiest place I have ever seen! I don't think there is anyone to oversee how they clean that place! I can't imagine running a business like that and being successful. I cannot believe people stay in a place like that.
