The carpet around the heater was soaked, I mean squishy soaked. Because the heater was electic I had some concerns for ... standing in that water and adjusting the heat. When we told the front desk about it she was unimpressed, she just said that it was becuase of the strong rains. Yikes, my house doesn't leak like that. I can't express how wet the carpet was.

I selected this hotel as part of the travel package. The room was clean and well lighted. For someone who's very picky ... about the shower, I enjoyed using it every time. The window can be open to let some fresh air flow in the room. The staffs were helpful with my needs. There is an in house Chinese restaurant which is quite convenient for people choose not to eat out. The best features I like about this are the short distance to the airport and the pricing.

Horrible place to stay!!!
Txsborn Nov 17, 2009
The front desk man was rude and not helpful at all. The front lobby STUNK! The restaurant was small and stinky, not like ... good food. The overall appearance of the hotel was like staying in the ghetto. The room was small and the heater did not work. It stayed on all night and was either sauna hot or freezing cold! The faucet water hardly came out in the sink. The coffee pot was IN THE BATHROOM!! That was gross. The coffee itself was bad. There was no creamer for it either. We were never told HOW to get covered parking. We asked the guy for good places to go and he said, i don't know. Then, he suggested Pikes Market when we were looking for clubs! There was trash in the parking lot! The room must've been dirt cheap because that's what it was, dirt. It's true, you get what you pay for.

If visiting seattle, make sure to visit the underground tour(or underworld tour if no children will be joining). It's downtown near the pier, so it's not really near the hotel, but was so much fun!

Disappointed
Seattle Traveler Nov 16, 2009
Checked in, clerk was not informative, had to ask questions as to the location of my room etc. Fire alarm went off as I ... just finished checking in, no direction from staff as to what to do. Once I was permitted back in building, had to ask for additional pillows and towels three times before they finally brought up to my room, said they forgot. Our bathroom in our room smelled like urine and the towels look liked they had dried blood stains on them. Not very clean. I met a gentleman in the elevator, said he had similar experience and would not ever stay at this hotel again, he would take his chances on the motel 6 down the street.

If you have a choice, stay somewhere else. My room on the second floor had a terrible mold smell. The location is too far ... from Seattle to enjoy the city. Also, the parking lot fills up early, so finding parking after returning for the night is difficult.

Concert fan Nov 9, 2009
We went to a concert in Seattle. The price was good. We got in late after the concert and there was no parking left. We ... circled several times and finally had to go back to the office. it was pooring down rain. We ended up parking a long way from the hotel. The room upstairs had someone that was running and jumping all night. The wall were pretty thin. The price was good and the room was clean.

unfortunate evening
tom from sacto Nov 8, 2009
I was traveling thru Seattle and was overnight awaiting a flight out. About one hour after I turned in for the evening, the ... smoke detector started chirping. I called the front desk, and it took another call and a half hour for someone to come up to check. They thought it was a battery, but after another inspection it turned out there was a leak in the roof and rainwater coming in, causing a short. I was forced to change rooms at 12:45 in the morning. Then, in my new room, the television alarm (which I did not set or turn on once I had changed rooms) came on at 5:30AM!! I really felt that I should have been comped for the room, given this experience.

Hotel was OK
djackson Oct 31, 2009
The Front desk staff was always willing to help out. We had purchased some wine, but didn't have a bottle opener. They asked ... a few people on staff to find one for us to borrow! They seem very family oriented, the room staff even had their kids with them when they were cleaning, which we thought was cute. The hotel itself is in need of remodeling, the tub had been roughly patched and the sink was barely attached to the counter. The halls had a constant, almost faint smell of cat urine. I had read [...] when I booked the trip that they had a continental breakfast included, which was not the case. When I checked while we were there, it no longer had any mention of it. The restaurant in the lobby is nice for 1 trip, but is kind of expensive. The linens and towels were SO scratchy, even worse than if no fabric softener was used.

Couldn't get much better, the location was central to where we wanted to go, the room was great, beds were comfy, ... housekeeping was excellent and the front desk help was a wonderful source of information to tourists like us who were lost most of the time but still had a great time finding places to see and things to do. I definately would stay there again should the opportunity arise of taking another trip to Seattle. The in house restaurant was reasonable.

The pool was closed for some unknown reason. There was no hot tub. The fitness room was very small, just 2 treadmils and ... one elliptical machine. They had a card for the television to show the tv mapping, but the channels did not match what was in the newspaper we bought, and no guide for the television channels. The restaurant was very nice, and the staff helpful. It was convenient to the airport and freeway. The service staff was good. I misplaced a cell phone charger, and they were not very helpful in contacting me about it.

I was surprised at the lack of size and quality of the bath towels/facecloths. I was not expecting super luxurious but ... something better than Kmart quality. It also appeared like the chambermaid(s) left before doing a final check...things out of place, remnants of cleaning materials, etc. However, that said, it is still a good "bang for the buck".

I rec'd this hotel through a package deal. I thought I was going to get a hotel that was probably like Motel 6 (no frills). ... Instead I believe this place was a 5 star one. I truly enjoyed staying at this Ramada Inn. It was a true joy. All I did was go between my Mother's, and Sister's house. This was the ultimate location for what I needed. I recommend if you fly into Sea-tac airport stay at this place. Nice rooms, service, and very good atmosphere.
