The courteous staff and convenient shuttle to the airport made getting around easy and hassel-free. They were informative and ... accomodating. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Could not have stayed somewhere else with that kind of service for the price!

If going to Forrest Park, just walk! The history museum is super close and it was a nice walk through Art Hill to get to the art museum and zoo, all of which is free. Bus #90 they tell you to take from the Metro Link takes FAR too long!

Was only looking for a nice room close to the airport and a nice restaurant for dinner.Found a nice room but the heat wasn't ... working, staff were very quick to change my room for me to make me comfortable, however did not find a nice restaurant in the hotel. Had to order carry-out. It wasn't bad but really had no selection ,it was either chinese or pizza. I had to take one or the other as I had no transportation. Was a little disappointed the advertised amenities were not there however, the staff were all very pleasant and as helpful as they could be given the circumstances. The room was clean and what I needed for the night. Would not use for an extended stay unless all the repairs were finished.

ten minutes from the airport and the hotel had a shuttle to the airport when I needed it.

I'm not a clean freak, but I didn't want to touch anything. Although this supposedly was a non smoking room, the room smelled ... like smoke. The carpeting was dirty and stained. The elevator was dented, scratched and stained and had dirty walls on the interior. I left here without a refund because they said I bought the room online.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. When we got on the wrong shuttle from the airport, a ... ramada employee drove us 10 minutes back to our hotel without a word of complaint. The airport shuttle is extremely convenient for travelers on a budget. Every day we took the shuttle to and from the airport and used the MetroLink train to get us where ever we needed to go. Our only complaint was that the continental breakfast was quite sparse.
Traveler type: Couples
Take hotel shuttle to airport (free) and then use MetroLink train to get where you need to go (cheap). Much less expensive than taxi rides and more convenient than driving your own car downtown.

This was a great experience. The poor location was due to the changes made by St. Louis Airport modifications causing ... inconvenient access. Otherwise it was fine. You should keep in mind that this motel is 40 years old. So some of the amenities such as carpeting, woodwork, room size, furniture, etc. are dated and/or small. But all things considered, the accommodations were nice. The bathroom facilities have been updated and this is one of the few motels with shower heads high enough for people 6 ft. plus. There have been other upgrades 10 or 20 years ago. The restaurant is currently being updated. But Ramada provides shuttle service to any of half a dozen commercial restaurants until their construction is finished. The personnel were very friendly and anxious to please. Ramada is the 4th or 5th owner and they are doing a great job of bringing this motel up to modern standards. I would be willing to stay here any time.

Well, to be fair, we just needed a place to sleep for a few hours. The hotel suffers from the airport expansion several ... years ago. I'm sure this is why they are priced so low for the quality of hotel. They would benefit greatly by some better signs out on the highway, rather than on the ramps leaving the highway. The highway weaves around and under the runway and it is difficult for unfamiliar travelers to navigate their way to this hotel. I totally recommend calling the front desk and get the time saving directions to their parking lot until they get some better signage on the highway. The room was clean and the staff was very accommodating to help me return my rental car in the middle of the night. The airport shuttle runs 24/7.

We went to farmaid, so the location and room were good for the short time we were there, but it hard to say if I would take ... my children considering the pool was not running and we were never notified of that, and that is a huge with kids. Also there was the same garbage that was in the main hall the whole weekend we were there, and finally the side doors never locked like the sign said it would,so that allowed any Tom, Dick or Harry..to walk in. But in the end the hotel was very affordable so I guess it just depends if you take childre or not!!

I would be ashamed to represent such a horrid place. We called staff just to request a extra ashtray and got told they dont ... know where they are.we even walked up to front desk to ask for 1 but the clerk was too busy on her cell phone to deal with us!.Any material in the room was 1 month behind re TV guide. no alternatives to order food. Our room had the odour that need us to turn ther fan on HIGH to try to cut the smell. Our door lock quit working in the morning when we went for the breakfeast, thats was not all that bad, The guy there was clerk, food prep and airport limo driver. This man was very good and helpful , he was the only brite spot. Security was a joke out car had its mirrors turned out and we own a 2009 pontiac. They never did ask our car info at check in. WE want a full refund and will be contacting RAMADA'S head office.

My husband and I was there just to stay the night to be closer to the airport for an early flight out the next morning. I ... really appreciated the shuttle service to the airport it made the transit so much easier. The motel was really nice wasn't there long enough to enjoy pool or fitness center. I would recommend motel to anyone very nice.

I did not realize the roads in st. louis are so non-linear. I wanted a hotel near another hotel on south lindbergh, it took ... almost 30 minutes going on the highway. Also lindbergh street turns into kirkwood, perhaps a little disclaimer could help people to avoid future confusion.

I have stayed at this Ramada before and liked it so it was an obviouse choice when I was picking a hotel. The rooms are nice ... and very clean. I was a bit disappointed this time b/c the pool was closed. I was there at the end of August and figured since it was still summer the pool would be open. Also the remote for the TV did not work...not sure if the batteries were dead or if it was broken.

Hotel peronnel do not give check out receipt if reserved through "cheap tickets" package deal. They say that Cheap Tickets will send it to me.
