We were very excited for our stay at the Ramada. From the pictures it had everything we were looking for. Once we got there ... it was a different story. It appearedthat the entire first floor had severe water damage. It smelled like mold, and the carpets were a mess. Once we got to our room the smell still lingered. The walls were very scratched up, and the construction on the hotel woke us up both mornings. Had we known about the water and construction we would not have stayed there. We normally spend this much on a hotel and have had good luck, this however was not the case for this trip.

Rosedale Mall and many restaurants just up the road off the highway. Downtown Minneapolis just south down the road. Hotel is near many major interstate and highway intersections. Convenient to both St. Paul (where I had meetings) and Minneapolis.

We spent one night at the Ramada Plaza after going to the Minnesota State Fair and the Twins game the following day. It was ... clean, cheap, and a great location between our two destinations and was just off of 35w. The hotel staff was nice and very helpful but the hotel itself was a work in progress. The lobby was very nice but our room and the hallway featured carpet that was very outdated and coming up in spots. There is construction going on in the hotel, we didn't hear any of it but you could tell improvements were being made. Overall a nice hotel for the price in a good neighborhood.

Clean. They were working on the building, but no noise in or near my room. Friendly, friendly check-in, bar and restaurant ... staff. Comfortable bed. Didn't smell of cigarettes.

Great for travel between Twin Cities

This was a great location for visiting family located both in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Easy access to freeways and gas ... station across the street. Very clean and good service. Only problem is the walls were too thin for me as I am a light sleeper.
