When we first arrived I was a bit disappointed because it didn't really look like the pictures. Our room was equally ... unimpressive. I was dreading spending a week in that room. The tiles in the bathroom weren't grouted in so I pinched my foot. The light outside our room was flickery and there was scaffolding in our view. I called up to the front desk and the people were wonderful. She let me go view other rooms and pick the one we wanted and she offered to put us up in one of their sister hotels if we couldn't find one we liked. She was so polite, and no questions asked. We got into a newer, remodeled room and had a great vacation. They are in the process of remodeling some things but didn't start until after 9 am. The facility was very clean and The staff was absolutely great. Friendly, helpful, like friends. It was nice to be in a hotel and still have privacy at the pool/hot tub. While it may not look as fancy or updated I am happy with our choice to stay there. When our week was up I wasn't really ready to come home! We would stay there again. Good value for the price.

Take advantage of the ART shuttles. They have 16 different routes and for only $4 a day per person it is well worth it. Parking at Disney alone was $14 and then if you go to the shopping areas they charge for parking also (if not validated). The bus drivers were great.

Family From Hawaii Nov 2, 2009
We went on a family vacation. One family of 7 one of 6 and two of 4. Three families were are located near each other on the ... same floor while the fourth family was moved around from the second floor to the third floor and then the fourth floor. Rooms were very spacious. Rooms could use an upgrade. Great place for families with kids. Affordable. The sofa bed is not for adults...you'll wake up with back aches. But its fine for two kids to sleep on with no side effects. The pool is cold and very small. Not big enough for our entire party. Straight shot to Disneyland main entrance. We would make shuttle runs to drop everyone off at the drop off parking at the front entrance. From there its just a 3-5 minute walk to ticket entrance. One person (the shuttle driver)would park car back at hotel and have a brisk 15 min walk to Disneyland. Saved us a whole lot of money. Overall we would stay here again.

We took our 3 kids to Disneyland and had a great time. The hotel was an after-thought since we weren't there much. I thought ... there was a free shuttle that could take us to Disneyland, but it cost $4 per person to ride it each way, so it was much cheaper to park at Disneyland and it was too far to walk. One bonus was that there was an extra pull-out couch that we didn't know about, plus a microwave and small fridge. The kids thought it was awesome, so it all worked out. There was also NO fruit at breakfast--only waffles, cereal, juice, and toast. Good deal for the money in that area.

Seasoned traveller Oct 29, 2009
We'd asked that we put next to the room of our daughter and her family. That was not done. We were told that we had to get a ... new key each dayto get to the pool. When I asked why, the desk clerk just said, "That's the way it is." Had a slow drain that we reported, but no action was taken by them. Generally, not a hotel worthy of the Wyndam name.

My boyfriend and I went down for the weekend to visit Disneyland, when I found this hotel on [...] and looked at the pictures ... I thought this was great for the price and location. When we arrived on Friday the hotel was under construction the front desk staff was friendly we signed in and got our room. We dropped our stuff off at the room and headed over to Disneyland. We stayed at the park till 12pm. When we got back to our room at 1pm I tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. Because of construction next to us they said it may be turned off? We had to move rooms and didn't get to bed till 3am... The rooms were not vacummed very well you could see the dust on the floor and in the corners. One towel we had, had makeup on it and the bath towels had holes in them? I have already decided to contact the hotel to complain about what they are advertising compared to what they are offering. The price was awesome on [...] but I am and was willing to pay more to leave that place.

The staff was very friendly, but the hotel is just very old and in need of renovations badly. When we checked in our bed was ... not made. The toilet plugged up twice, the bathtub plug did not work for a bath. There was no TV remote control. The bathtub was old and stained. The continental breakfast was not good, no fruit or anything healthy. The only good thing about the stay was the bed, it was nice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone when you can get a nice hotel for the same price. We were with a group and did not book it.

Tails Oct 2, 2009
Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean and neet. But the wifi Internet was broken the whole week of our vacation ... which really complicated our stay and disrupted many of our plans for getting business work done while spending vacation time at Disneyland. They had a kiosk but we could not use it for our personal business needs. The spare room bed (fold out couch) was extreamly hard and painful to sleep on.

What you pay for
Pleased Sep 30, 2009
The hotel is old. Its amenities are run-down. My group had 2 different rooms. One room was cramped. The other room was far ... more spacious. I'm not sure if all of the rooms fluctuate in size, but if given the option ask for a newer, larger room. Regarding the amenities, the pool was small and not heated. It is in a private location o the hotel, which was nice. But at the end of a long day at theme parks, it would be nice to be able to ejoy a decent size pool that isn't cold. The service I and my group received was very good. All of the staff were always willing and available to help. My group ran into an issue, where we had forgot to tip the cleaning staff one of the days during our stay and the effort put into cleaning out room dropped significantly - the beds were properly made, one of the sheets put on the bed was stained, the towels in the bathroom were left on the toilet, etc. I suggest tipping everyday to avoid unpleasant surprises. Regarding this hotel's location in relation to Disneyland, it's not far but not close. It is a couple miles away. It's on Harbour Blvd (the street that Disneyland has its main entrance off of). If walking becomes a burden, there is a Resort Transit bus that stops directly in front of the hotel. When I stayed, it cost $4/person for unlimited daily use. Finally, regarding the continental breakfast, it was fine. It included muffins, donuts, waffles, cereal, toast, coffee, tea, and various juices. My only complaint is that would it have been nice to be offered some kind of fruit of protein, otherwise it was fine. I had read other reviews about the brakfast-room, where you eat, being cramped which I don't agree with. It was a decent size. I could see it being cramped if the hotel is packed and a large group of people are eating at once. Overall, my experience at this hotel was pleasant. It was FAR from horrible. I would suggest this hotel if you want a cheap stay at a hotel that is somewhat close to Disneyland and offers easy access to Resort Transit.

The staff was very friendly and the place was in a GREAT location. However, our bathroom was atrocious. The light flickered ... or was out completely, the bathroom door was broken so you couldn't close it all the way without the fear of being locked in. There wasn't a lot of room to move around.

Not as bad as I'd expected
Mal Sep 17, 2009
Me and my buddies didnt really stay at the hotel too long, the room was larger than we'd expected and clean, though in need ... of some maintanance, patches on the wallpaper and some minor scratches on the doors. The biggest disapointment were the TV's, by far, real old CRT's with horrible reception, compaired to the 50inch 1080p bahemoth I'm used to it was... a bit of a letdown... The location, however, wasint bad, well within walking distance of the center, and the staff were rather nice. I did like the beds, though we did find a random stelleto under one... yes... someones shoe under the bed... I'd say if you just need a place close to the center to sleep in this is plenty fine, if you need all the comforts of home I'd suggest looking elsewere.

Rosebowl Runner Sep 7, 2009
We needed a place to stay close to the start of the Disney Half Marathon. Basically what we needed was a clean bed and a ... clean bathroom so if that is your only criteria this will do. The place is run down and needs updating. No fresh fruit at the continental breakfast. If your diet allows starch this breakfast will do.

Even though the Main Gate of Disney is almost a mile away it is faster to walk there then to take the shuttle. The shuttle is not run by the hotel but one that is run by the city of Anaheim and it stops at several hotels along the way...this hotel is about mid trip. It seems like a good idea but we wated so long that you could have walked there and back (at least it felt that way!).
